Time truly flies! While Quantum Solutions was founded back in 2009, it was on 17th September 2015 that we moved into our home on Portland Road in Kilmarnock — and what a decade it has been.

Our office has become more than just a workplace. It’s where we collaborate, innovate, share ideas, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together. It has been a constant source of stability and support, helping us grow as a team and as a business.

Over the past year, Quantum has achieved its strongest balance yet across both private and public sector projects, adapting to the ever-changing landscape while staying true to our values of teamwork, professionalism, and innovation.

✨ A real family affair at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards! ✨

This week, Richard was honoured to join the judging panel for the Scottish Home Improvement Awards at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow.

Even more special – he was joined by fellow judge (and daughter!) Olivia Neilson, currently studying Architecture at the University of Dundee. 👩‍🎓🏛️

The standard of submissions was incredible – so many inspiring projects and passionate businesses driving real change in the industry. Congratulations to all the worthy winners and finalists! 🏆👏

On the 1 August, our team at Quantum Solutions, supported by family and friends, have decided to put down the challenge and climb Goatfell on the Isle of Arran to raise funds for the Catherine McEwan Foundation, a Crohn's & Colitis Charity who are based in Glasgow.

The Catherine McEwan Foundation has the vision to make sure every person in Scotland and beyond suffering from Crohn's, Colitis or other inflammatory bowel disease, has access to the best healthcare and be in the best health possible so they can live life to the full.

This charity has a real connection for Quantum Solutions Director Richard Neilson who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of 10. Throughout Richard's life, he has learned how to manage his condition and live life to the full always believing that anything is possible.

Inflammatory bowel disease can be very challenging but with a positive outlook, the right support from family, friends, and healthcare professionals, really anything can be achieved!

We would therefore be so thankful it could make a donation to us and support this great charity.

Our team had an amazing time at 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐠𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 for 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 Week.🏫

It was inspiring to see the creativity and curiosity of the pupils as we talked about the various roles in construction from - 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 👷🏼‍♀️👷🏼‍♂️

The pupils put their problem-solving skills to the test with our 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 — aiming to build the tallest (and most cost-effective!) tower.🗼

We love sparking young minds’ interest in 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 subjects, and a huge thank you to 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐠𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 for having us. We had a fantastic day!

Providing 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 services, we supported the client with every step of the journey — from 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 to ensuring detailed 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

At 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, we are always investing in our team’s growth! We recently attended 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 with 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝑺𝒌𝒚 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔. 🌟

From 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 thinking to 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 creativity, 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐝 leadership to earth 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 – we explored the full spectrum of Insights Discovery! 🌈 This training gave us invaluable insights into self-awareness, communication, and leadership styles. Learning how to blend these colours to form a stronger team and grow as individuals. 💪

Seven teams from Universities and Colleges across Scotland, all with a passion for the built environment put their skills to the test - tackling a demanding real-world project with innovation, teamwork and professionalism. Beyond the competition, students had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and potential employers.
