Called out as packing machine motor tripping, found linear bearings and rail extremely worn and no lubrication, lubricated to get them going.

Now replaced shaft with Igus plastic bearing technology and aluminum shaft, this removes the need to lubricate, next time replacement required only inserts to be changed saving money.

Customer had problem with inconsistent label feed, oem had been to look but unable to sort, on investigation noticed sensor was reading barcode as background, found it was possibly to reteach sensor and set threshold to 75%, modified software and changed timer on hmi, ran 10 pallets of 1kg onion sacks off machine with no issues

Customer had installed a replacement compressor, however on startup breaker in distribution board would trip. Identified issue was with star delta starter. Interlock was controlled by normally closed auxillary contact block allowing delta contactor to engage before star contactor had fully disconnected.

Added new auxillary block to front of contactor as stocked on van, moved cables to nc contacts and issue fixed.
