The First Aid Company was started in April 2013 by Janet Dell. Jan says that First Aid started for her as a hobby linked to her sport of Lifesaving and Lifeguarding which she has been involved in for over fifty years. She has been teaching First Aid for thirty five years, but has always worked for other Companies and as an integral part of Lifeguarding Awards for the Royal Life Saving Society. Due

to the increased requests from other organisations for courses, Janet decided to become a trainer in her own right and registered with Qualsafe, as the Companies she worked for only certified courses which they asked her to run. Jan is assisted where necessary by Raymond Lau M.A, a Deputy Head Teacher and Ofsted Inspector by profession boasting many years experience in First Aid Training.

She was constantly staying near the fish market and watching people come to buy fish. She took a leaf that fell from the tree and came to the owner. On the first day, surprised, he took her "money" and gave her a fish. From that day on, every morning she comes with a leaf to "buy" fish.
