Well today sees 101 supporting the soup kitchen at Victoria Square. If you know anyone who is homeless or in need send them along for a meal, be there by 6pm.

Sunday Victoria Square Hull near Saville Street 6pm
Monday Trippet Street Car Park, Freetown Way Hull near Napoleons Casino 6.30pm
Tuesday Trippet Street Car Park, Freetown Way Hull near Napoleons Casino 7pm
Wednesday Thursday Friday St Marys Church Lowgate Hull 5pm
Saturday Scope behind the BBC centre Hull 8pm

Well the weekend is upon us again, stay warm people its not nice out there.
The support team will be out supporting our colleagues on Sunday and Monday despite what the weather may do.
Pop say Hi or give us a wave. Sunday 5-8 and Monday 5-8 at Queens.

It is always deeply saddening when a member of the homeless community passes, let alone a well known and well liked person. This week our team along with teams across Hull are once again feeling this sadness.

Over the conclusion of the Christmas period we lost a young man, someone we all liked, supported and had hope for his future, we are thinking of his friends and any family out there at this devastating time. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We are lucky to finally have an engaging council who want to listen, understand and help in the plight of so many. This council have shown unwavering support to find ways to go forward. To best help those in real need, for that we thank Hull City Council.

It is obvious there is a long way to go in support, we all understand and accept that. There are lessons to be learn from the past and systems that need to improve to better support everyone. It will happen sadly it will take time.

We stop to think about those lost in years gone by, we never forget them. We stop to think of those we see every day now, we will do our best to ensure they don't become another statistic, we will support Hull City Council in fighting for every person who is in need.

To all the soup kitchens in Hull we thank you for the selfless and tireless work you do day in day out 365 days a year. Without the efforts of the groups and interagency working we know the statistics would increase. Keep up the good work.

Just to make everyone aware that our friends from Ladled With Love will be providing Christmas Day & Boxing Day Meals to anyone in need or alone this Christmas. This is all Free of charge and everyone welcome ❤️💙

Well... after a few strange weeks the team are still out there. Sorry for the lack of posts we got busy.

Back at Queens Gardens tomorrow evening from 17.30 and Monday the same again.

Stop by say hi to the teams if you see them.

Cold nights have truly landed so wrap up well and be safe.

Back in the city for a few hours with a few ad hoc visits to do on the way.

Well..... how to sum up today.

It's been the busiest shift in 2 years. So many active jobs I lost count. Disturbances. Disorder. Fights and an rtc to top it all off.

A hard working shift but a great team effort from both companies.

Thanks to all staff and volunteers but most importantly we thank a few members of the public who showed great courage support and empathy in sometimes awful jobs.

Another day more people protected. We carry on and do it all again. Love and respect to all involved.
