One of our favourite things with these is seeing what people actually choose.

Some want something really subtle. Some go completely different. Some pick a finish I’m not convinced about until we get halfway through fitting it and it just works.

We see these cars the whole way through the process, so by the time they’re finished we’ve normally been staring at the colour for a few days.

Then you put the before and after next to each other and realise how different it actually looks🤣

We can change the colour. We can’t perform miracles 🤣

Something we explain quite a lot when looking at cars for wraps is that vinyl follows what’s underneath it.

Dents don’t disappear because they’re wrapped.

Deep scratches don’t suddenly become flat.

Bad repairs don’t become good repairs.

A wrap can completely change how a car looks but it isn’t a replacement for getting bodywork sorted where it’s needed.

And we’d much rather tell you that before taking your money than wrap over something we know you wont be happy with afterwards.

Came in looking like every other white van on the road…

Left looking like a business.

A commercial vehicle doesn’t need to be absolutely covered in graphics to do its job. Good design, the right information and something people will actually remember when they see it.

This is one of the biggest worries people have before wrapping their car.

And the answer isn’t quite as simple as “wrap can’t damage paint”

On good, sound paintwork, with the correct material fitted and removed properly there shouldn’t be an issue.

Where things can become different is when a car has had previous paintwork, poor repairs, lacquer problems or something underneath that we can’t necessarily see.

It’s also exactly why we’re honest when we inspect a vehicle before wrapping it.

A wrap can transform a car.

But it isn’t bodywork👀

Technically, yes.

But it’s mad how much one colour can completely change the look of a car.

Same car. Same bodywork. Completely different presence.

You see loads of what we do on here, but probably not that much about us 😂

Two Harleys, plenty of late nights, a lot of learning as we’ve gone and somehow a business that’s taken us into places we never would’ve expected when we started.

There’s a lot more that goes on behind HRL than the nice finished photos we usually post, so thought we’d share a little bit of it.

Some of you have been following us since pretty much day one, some have trusted us with multiple jobs and some of you might’ve only found us this week.

Either way, this is us 👋

And we’re definitely not done yet.

No rip out. No new units. Just a completely different look using architectural wrap.

This is exactly why we always say a tired kitchen doesn’t automatically mean you need a new one.
