We are looking to employ a Class 2 Tipper Driver on a full time basis working out of Hull.

🌟 Monday - Friday with a possibility of some Saturdays.

🌟 Applicants must be flexible, over the age of 25 for insurance purposes & able to work on their own initiative.

🌟 Training can be given but experience preferred.

THROWBACK THURSDAY 💥

Gordon Northgraves, my beloved Grandad, started working in the haulage business sometime in the early 1960's. He drove both mixers and tippers throughout his working life - eventually starting up his own business as a contract haulier based out of Beverley for Readymix, and then later based out of Melton for Hargreaves. He ended up giving my Dad a job shortly after myself and younger brother were born.

And as they say, the rest is history..

We have just received our new truck, marking a total of 8 vehicles in our fleet. This goes on the road today so keep a look out and give us a wave 👋

This moment feels especially profound as it's my first purchase as a Transport Manager, and our first truck without Dad here. His legacy continues to drive us forward, and we are committed to upholding the standards he set for us. Here’s to new beginnings and carrying on his spirit in everything we do 🚛

After blood, sweat and (lots of) tears I can now say I am officially a Transport Manager. Thank you to absolutely everyone who has supported me throughout the process.

I know my Dad would be super proud, also my Grandad Northgraves who was a HGV owner driver for many years and gave my Dad his first driving opportunity. I know they're both looking down on me.

It is with deepest regret that my Dad, Tony Whitton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday 16th April. His funeral will be held on Tuesday 7th May, 12.30pm at Haltemprice Crematorium.

The business will still keep trading with myself as MD, although it is under difficult circumstances I am determined to make my Dad proud.
