The search is on for the region’s tourism champions with entries now open for the 16th annual Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs).

The REYTAs have become one of the area’s most prestigious business awards programmes, helping tourism businesses gain recognition locally, regionally and nationally.

A fantastic morning at East Riding College Beverley 👏

Both members of the Visit East Yorkshire marketing team and the Beverley Tourist Information Centre team had a brilliant time attending the speed networking event with students. It was a great opportunity to connect with the next generation of talent, share a whistle stop tour into the local tourism industry, and hear first-hand from students about their ambitions and ideas for the future.

Events like this are so valuable in helping to build connections between education and industry, and it was inspiring to see so much enthusiasm, curiosity and passion in the room.

Get involved in VisitEngland’s ‘My coast has the most’ campaign 🎥

VisitEngland is inviting tourism businesses to help bring this national campaign to life and it would be fantastic to see as many businesses championing Hull and East Yorkshire as possible!

The ask:
-Create a 45-second video showcasing what makes your part of the coast special
- Include the campaign script, hashtag, Visit England tags and end frames (from the toolkit, our image is an example)
- Share your video across your channels between 29 June – 5 July

This is your chance to be part of a nationwide push celebrating England’s coastline, while promoting your business to a wider domestic audience.
