A weaver of wholeness and an award winning therapist, who has been holding a safe space for women, guiding them through life's challenges and changes for 10 years working with a deep soul journey, sound healing, hypnotherapy, cycles of Nature and Moon, rituals and different spiritual practices. I offer a safe space for women who feel like there is more to life than their "usual" day to day work an

d home life, who want to get back home to themselves, make their life sacred, step into their wild women power, explore and accept their light and shadow to integrate them both and become whole again. Once we are whole, we feel like we are belonging, we feel full of life and energy, our life flows harmoniously, we are more resilient and can deal with daily struggles and stresses with ease, we see the world with different eyes and can feel our wild woman power rising again.

As we enter the pause between the inhale and the exhale of the Sun standing still, I wish you all a blessed and light-filled Summer Solstice โ˜€๏ธ

After a few days of pause, when it feels like the Sun is standing still, there will be a subtle shift in the days getting shorter again. In a few days, we will start our slow descent into the darker part of the year. As soon as we step over the threshold of the Summer Solstice, the outer energy begins to wane and the inner journey begins to expand.

During this peak of the Sun's energy and daylight, we celebrate the fullness of who we are and what gifts we bring to the world just by being here, we celebrate what we have brought into the world this year, we celebrate what we have manifested. This time is like a pause between the inhale and exhale, between seen and unseen, where all the magic happens.

Whether the sun has been generous with us this week or notโ€‹ (there is more Sun and heat incoming over the next few days), we can still connect with longer days and recognise the light that is within us and the light that surrounds us and is within everyone we meet. We are all connected through this light of consciousness.

Solstice light is reflected within us and our own power is reflected in the โ€‹Solstice light.

Below are a few suggestions on how to celebrate the longest day:

โ˜€๏ธ greet the Sun (either at the sunrise or at any point during the longest day)
โ˜€๏ธ take a few moments standing in the Sun, feeling your feet firmly on the ground. Close your eyes and feel the powerful summer Sun shining on you. With each breath, pull the fiery, fierce Sun energy into your body, adding to your own inner fire.
โ˜€๏ธ decorate your home with red, gold and orange colours
โ˜€๏ธ add oak twigs to your altar
โ˜€๏ธ gather flowers and create your own flower crown, connecting to the medicine of the flowers and plants you are using
โ˜€๏ธ paint / bake a Sun

Wishing you all a radiant, expansive and full of light & magic time of the Midsummer.

There is a moment between the inhale and the exhale. ๐ŸŒž

Summer Solstice is that moment.

The year has been breathing in since Midwinter by gathering light, building energy, reaching toward fullness. And now, at Midsummer, we arrive at the top of the breath with the Sun at its peak.
Then, the exhale begins. The slow descent back toward the dark, towards the second half of the year, rich with harvest and depth begins.

Come and stand in that stillpoint with me.

Join me on Sunday at 4pm at the Bristol Goddess Temple for a Summer Solstice Gong Meditation, a space to honour the peak, feel the pause and consciously cross the threshold into the turning year.

Iโ€™m so excited to begin introducing more of the beautiful humans I work alongside at Sacred Space, and one of those people is the wonderful Monika.

Iโ€™ve known Monika for around six years now, though weโ€™ve worked more closely together over the last two and a half to three years, and honestly, I absolutely love working with her. She is one of those rare people whose presence immediately puts you at ease, warm, deeply grounded, incredibly funny and simply a joy to be around.

Monika is a priestess, sound facilitator and guide through lifeโ€™s messier thresholds, holding spaces for depth, honesty and becoming.

Her work is rooted in sound, ritual, cyclical living and the wisdom of the body, supporting transformation that feels real rather than performative.

A ceremonialist and threshold walker, she brings lived wisdom to everything she shares. Gongs, ritual, presence and deep listening are woven through her work, alongside a deep respect for the beautifully messy human experience.

Not here for spiritual perfection, but for realness, resonance and depth.

Tree hugger, herb grower, moss enthusiast and lover of the liminal, Monika is probably happiest wandering in the woods with a herbal tea in hand, talking about thresholds, cycles and what it means to truly become.

It feels really special to be welcoming more of her offerings into the studio space, and I honestly cannot wait to continue learning alongside her myself as I begin her year-long sound diploma later this year.

Her next offering is on June 7th - The Moonapause Retreat day for women in peri menopause, menopause and post menopausal

Blessings for a fertile and creative Beltane. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The eve of the fire festival is here โ€” can you feel it?

Beltane marks the threshold between Spring and Summer, when the Earth's energies are at their most potent and alive. This is the season of fertility, of action, of bringing your ideas, hopes and dreams out of the dreaming and into the doing. And, with being Beltane, there is absolutely some fun involved too. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ”ฅ

Here in South Wales the hills are layered in every shade of green, warm with the low golden light of the Sun. Nature's energy is moving outward and upward - growing, becoming, bursting. And if we tune inward, we can feel that same aliveness rising in us too.

This is the gift of walking with the Wheel of the Year. When we observe and connect with Nature's changing landscape, we are given a mirror for our own inner changes. One that is nurturing, grounding and deeply wise. Beltane isn't just a date on the calendar. The shift in energy is happening whether we are aware of it or not. But when we are aware of it, we can move with it rather than against it.

Change is everywhere right now. Nature is growing, moving, becoming. And so are we.

๐ŸŒธ A Beltane invitation:

If you come across a Hawthorn tree on your walks - pause. Ask the tree's permission to sit with her. If you feel a yes, spend a little time beneath her branches, breathing in her energies, opening your spiritual heart to what she offers. The Hawthorn is a deeply magical tree at Beltane. She has much to say.

How are you welcoming this seasonal transition on the Wheel of the Year? ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ

After more than 15 years of facilitating many sound and ceremony events, I facilitated my first workshop of 'Sound & Ceremony - The Art of Listening' on Saturday and began passing on what I have learnt along the way.

Sound & Ceremony - The Art of Listening brought together a wonderful group of people who came with curiosity. and openness to learn more.

We explored how sound affects the nervous system, not just in theory but also felt in the body. We talked about the archetypal voices of ceremony โ€” calling, holding, guiding, marking transition, integrating โ€” and how every instrument carries one of those voices when used with intention.

We talked about listening. Really listening. Before you make a single sound. Listening to your own body, listening to the group, listening to the ceremony and listening to the unheard, subtle energies.

And then at the end of the day, they built their own group sound ceremony together. Was it perfect? Almost. Was there giggling when things didn't go quite to plan? Absolutely. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But did they listen each other, respond to the room and create something genuinely beautiful together? Yes, they really did.

And I got to experience how it's like being cocooned in aerial silks while gentle sounds are being played. And I can tell you it was awesome!! ๐Ÿ˜

Most sound healers know the instruments. Far fewer know how to build a container around them.

If this resonates with you, I'm running Sound & Ceremony - The Art of Listening again in September at Sacred Space Yoga in Weston. And for those ready to go deeper, The Way of Sacred Sound, a year-long practitioner training, begins in November. If you are called, get in touch and I will send you the details.

Most sound healers know the instruments. Far fewer know how to build a container around them.

I've been saying this a lot because I believe it's the most important thing I can pass on.

Sound facilitation is not just about the instruments you play or how well you play them. It begins long before the first sound is made - in how you prepare the space, how you prepare yourself, how you greet the people who walk through the door, how you open and close with care.

The ceremony around the sound is not decorative; it's the vessel that holds everything.

In Sound & Ceremony - The Art of Listening we will be exploring different instruments and how they work, but one day is not enough to go deep into technique with each one. That takes many hours, many days, many layers of practice. What one day is enough for is understanding the foundation: how to listen before you plaโ€‹y and how to build a container that holds people safely while moving them deeply.

That foundation is what everything else is built on. Whether you go on to work with gongs, singing bowls, drums, or all of them, the container is always where it starts.

โ€‹I am super excited that on Saturday I will start passing on what I have learnt over the past 15 years working with sound, safe space, ceremony and deep listening.

I came to sound healing through need.

โ€‹Many years ago, I was struggling with depression and anxietyโ€‹. And I was finding my way back to myself through meditation and gratitude โ€‹practice, holding onto both like a safety blanket. Then someone handed me a โ€‹Singing Bowls CD. โ€‹Aโ€‹nd something in my mind went quiet.

I bought my first singing bowlโ€‹, which was small enough to fit in my hand. I experimented, read everything I could find, then bought another bowl. And another. And another.

Eventually, I came across something called 'a singing bowl massage' at a โ€‹venue I knew about in London. There was an option to include gongsโ€‹ and all those years ago, I had no idea what a gong even wasโ€‹,โ€‹ but I thought, I'm going all in.

When I heard the first sounds from the gong, I felt my body stop existingโ€‹ and my consciousness filled the whole room.

In that moment, I knew. This is it. This is what I want to do.

I went on to train with different teachers, explore different instruments and expand my playing and all the while I was weaving in the ceremonial aspect, the ritual, the holding of sacred space.

Because for me, it was never just a gong bath. Never just playing instruments. There was always so much more โ€” a dance between the seen and unseen, between sound and silence, between what happens in the room and what happens beyond it.

That was over 15 years ago. & Ceremony โ€” The Art of Listening is where I begin passing it on.

The person holding the space matters as much as the space itself.

I've been working with sound, ceremony and ritual for โ€‹over 15 years. In that time, I've held โ€‹space for people โ€‹going through grief, transition, the turning of seasons, the turning of their lives. I'm a qualified hypnotherapist, a Priestess of Cerridwen and someone who has spent a decade and a half learning how sound moves through โ€‹uโ€‹s, not just in theory, but in practice.

Sound & Ceremony โ€‹- The Art of Listening is not a workshop I've put together from a manual. It's distilled from everything I've learnโ€‹t about what sound does when it's used with intention, ceremony and โ€‹wโ€‹ithin a well-held container.

โ€‹If you feel the pull toward this work, this is where it begins.

โ€‹I am holding the workshop on the 18th April at Sacred Space Yoga in Weston and we only have a few spaces left (more details in the comments).

What a weekend to be holding gong meditations. ๐Ÿ™

Two events and one threshold crossed.

On Saturday I was honoured to bring the gongs to Sacred Space Yoga retreat at Utopia for a beautiful Spring celebration, where the energy was full of the joy of the season turning with a lovely warm spring sunshine. There is something irreplaceable about sounding in a space that is already feeling full of spring energy.

Then on Sunday, the Bristol Goddess Temple for the Spring Equinox Gong Meditation with quieter, more devotional energies. The kind of space where the gong doesn't just fill the room, it fills something inside you.

Two gatherings, two containers, yet the same thread running through both - this powerful threshold moment of rebirth, rebalancing and stepping into the light part of the year.

The weekend ended by driving back home to Wales with the most beautiful, big, red sunset over the bridge.

I left the weekend full of gratitude for the people who showed up, for the spaces that held us and for the privilege of doing this work at the turning of the seasons.

Spring is well and truly here. ๐ŸŒฑ

As we cross into the lighter half of the year, Nature is unmistakably waking up. Trees are budding, spring flowers are opening, birds are singing their mating songs, seeds are germinating beneath our feet. Every sense is being called back to life.

Tomorrow is Spring Equinox and it is our invitation to rebalance.

The Equinox is one of the great thresholds of the year, a moment when we are asked to bring equilibrium back into our own lives:

๐ŸŒ€ light and dark
๐ŸŒ€ inner and outer
๐ŸŒ€ intuition and rational mind
๐ŸŒ€ conscious and unconscious
๐ŸŒ€ feminine and masculine

A little bit of nerdy nature wisdom: the actual equal day and night โ€” called Equilux โ€” fell a few days ago, on 17th March for us here in South Wales. This is because of how sunrise and sunset are calculated. The Equinox and Equilux are not the same thing!

But however we measure it, balance is never a fixed point. It is a dynamic dance โ€” a constant give and take, shifting over time. The invitation isn't to arrive at perfect equilibrium, but to tend to it consciously.

We fondant had some sunshine this week, with almost Beltane like warmth, which was a beautiful gift before it most probably returns to the more typical mix of Welsh sunshine and rain. And with that sun and rain, everything is bursting into life.

Spring carries powerful fertility energy. It is the season for taking the visions, learnings and dreams that ripened in the stillness of winter and grounding them โ€” growing them into something real, something lasting. Our energy naturally spirals outward now, from the inner world into the world around us.

What lasting change will you be growing this Spring?

With blessings
Monika ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
