Please note that due to Railway Bridge Inspection to be carried out by Network Rail/Coneworx TM it will be necessary in the interests of public safety to apply the following restriction to traffic.

ROAD CLOSURE
On B993 Inverurie to Whiterashes Road
At Railway Bridge, Keithhall Road

From 22:00 hours on 25 June 2026 to 06:00 hours on 26 June 2026

Diversion via B993 to A96, A96 to B977 Kintore, B977 to B979 Hatton of Fintray, B979 to C67c Kinmuck, C67c to B993 Keithhall and vice versa as shown on the attached plan.

Access for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians will be maintained and vehicular access to affected properties will be maintained whenever possible.

Site notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative routes where applicable.

We would like to apologies to the driver of the blue Vauxhall Mokka who we were forced to block in earlier today.

The crew were turned out to an incident and unfortunately due to the vehicle being parked in the designated spaces for our crew, we had no option but to park vehicles where space permitted, it was not nor would it ever be intentional. The crews first thought is always on why we have been paged.

Thankfully the crew were back within an hour of turning out so hopefully no distress was caused to the driver.

Please be aware that the spaces in front of the station are regularly cleared by the fire crew to ensure we are able to respond in a timely manner and although today was less than an hour given the coming weather it wouldn’t be uncommon for the crew to be away for a much longer period.

Please keep the spaces free as they are used by the crew frequently at this time of the year.

It does seem however that our emergency appliance has adopted a smaller emergency vehicle as a mascot!

If your little one has left their toy ambulance at the station please let me know and we’ll get it back as soon as we can!
