Farming Equipment and Technology fund 2026

📣📣Final call for any last minute applications. Let us know by Friday 24th April 5pm if you want help with your application. 🚜

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is now open - and there's £50 million of funding available.

From today, if you’re a farmer, grower, forester or contractor, you can apply for a grant of up to £25,000 to help cover the cost of equipment that cuts costs, boosts efficiency and supports animal health and welfare.

Whether that's a precision pesticide sprayer to cut chemical costs, a slurry separator to reduce your fertiliser bill, or an autonomous robot to help with planting, over 200 types of equipment are eligible.

Applications are open for six weeks, closing at midday on Tuesday 28 April.

Wishing all clients and colleagues a happy and prosperous 2026!!

2025 brought many changes and challenges to the industry and there continues to be many ahead, but hopefully we’ve helped clients plan ahead with confidence and access SFI, CS Capital works and many other sources of grant funding to ensure their businesses are in a position to go forward with confidence. We’ve also helped many people look at their businesses in a different way and make alterations to fit around family life and the many other pulls on our time as well as supporting many people where the strain has taken its toll mentally. Having been through many challenges and changes it’s good to be able to help people see a way forward - here’s to 2026 being the year where agriculture is valued and we all have confidence in the future 👍

On offer to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the whole of the Westmorland & Furness Council area are:

✅16 capital grants of between £1,000 and £25,000 (based on an average of £12,500) with a maximum grant contribution of 50% of eligible project value.
✅75 £500 consultancy vouchers and 50 £1,000 vouchers
