Now is the time to sell your alloys.

We will pay £60 per set of 4 for scrap.

If you have a set of alloys you're struggling to sell, we will pay £60 per set as long as they are 15" or above, with or without tyres.

For individual alloys 15" or over, we will pay £15 each, with or without tyres.

We don't care if they are cracked, buckled, or have been welded; we only want the alloys for scrap.

If you have any alloys under 15", we will pay £10 each, with or without tyres.

Collection in Fife only, unless loads are over 90 alloys.

This is what happens when you get the cheapest quote.

The public, wanting the cheapest quote, not caring where their waste ends up—this is what happens.

We have cleared this same area in Glenrothes three times already this year, and the same thing happens.

There was someone's name and address in the last pile, but we won't share that information. Hopefully, they will see pictures and identify their items and use a reputable company next time.

We are not the cheapest company. With rising costs for disposal, we're lucky if we're doing five uplifts or clearances a week, all because there are others who will do it cheaper.

Cheapest is not always the best.

Customer announcement

Can everyone please share so as many see this as possible

Unfortunately, we don't offer free collection of any white goods.

We will not uplift any of the following for free:

Washing machine
Tumble dryer
Dishwasher
Cooker or oven
Fridges or freezers

Fridge and freezer aren't scrap, and the other items listed above, scrappies we use do not want them, so the value is so low. A washing machine is worth about £2 in scrap.

We get calls daily, and we say we don't uplift white goods. We get the reply, "It's not white, it's black or silver." It's still a white good, and unfortunately, we won't uplift for free.

We will uplift them, but we will charge the following:

Washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, oven, tumble dryer: £30 per item or 3 items for £50

Domestic under-counter fridge or freezer 3ft: £65
Domestic fridge freezer: £75

We understand plenty of other man and van or scrap men will uplift for free, and Fife Council will also uplift for free. We recommend using them, as unfortunately, we cannot afford to send a vehicle out with two workers to uplift something with so low value for free.
