Samantha Scott and Chris Plenderleith were delighted to attend "Conscious Leadership, an evening with Jonny Wilkinson". This event took place in the Member's Dining Room in the Houses of Parliament as the first event for the newly formed Leaders Council.

A fantastic evening and a great overview of Conscious Leadership, being present in the moment and enjoying the journey.

It was great to talk to like minded people who were focussed on the difference conscious and mindful leadership can make to a team.

New Project Start

Leith Facilities are in Essex today supporting Consensus with the installation of nurse call within their new facility which is due to open soon.

Local Landmark Project

Another local refurbishment project underway by the Facilities Team. This time at the Nature Reserve in Fylde which is having some TLC.

We are hoping that the summer is a little less wet in the coming weeks as we complete these projects!

The Leith Group is delighted to be a Member of the Leaders Council. This follows many years of our involvement in the Parliamentary Review which has adapted and evolved in a new post-Covid world.

Chaired by former Home Secretary and Education Secretary, Lord Blunkett, The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland brings together the most influential figures from across the country. It celebrates the hard work and achievements of the nation’s unsung leaders, while laying the ground for the next generation.

Project completion

The Facilities Team have completed all works on the bathroom refurbishments for Blackpool Transport.

The final install being radiator covers which have given the final finishes to the bathrooms.

A wonderful finish on these bathrooms with some lovely upgrades on the environment for the staff.

Planning Update - Community Infrastructure Levy

Another case that reminds us of the numerous challenges surrounding the legislation implementing the Community Infrastructure Levy.

Developers clearly need to take advice when dealing with the Levy. Even the description of development can be critical in keeping options open. See [2023]J.P.L.925 or speak to a member of the team for more information.

Success!

The Planning Team has successfully secured consent for a Certificate of Lawful Use (CLUED) which has removed the agricultural tie from our clients property.

A delighted client who now has a property with open market values.

Local Landmark Project

Another refurbishment project underway for the Facilities Team, this time Ansdell Tram Shelter. The tram shelter is having some well deserved care in the form of a power wash, repairs, painting and decorating.
