People who know us will know that, though we are not yet old enough to be OAPs, we are grey-haired grandparents who spend most of our time baby-sitting, playing games, cooking, dining, shopping, dog-walking and doing good turns. So how can we call ourselves business owners? How indeed!
This is a part-time business that fits around us and allows us the freedom (and money) to live life on our terms. Quite a precious thing in this day and age, wouldn't you say?
Is it a sales business? Well, yes and no. It is marketing, in fact, which is slightly different. We simply show people a proposition for dealing expediently with their essential outgoings. If they like it, fantastic! Then we guide them through a simple on-line form to complete the process. If they are not particularly impressed, well, no harm done. Maybe another day, maybe not. We don't mind.
Why are we saying we're recruiting independent promoters? Why, because this business is for sharing. Utility Warehouse, our partner company needs plenty of self-employed people all over the UK promoting them and learning to be their professional network marketing force. There is a saying among entrepreneurs: "1 hour worked by 100 people is far better than 100 hours worked by 1 person."
Utility Warehouse do not waste money on press, billboard or TV advertising, and the millions of GBPs they consequently save is spent on giving their customers more and better for a fairer price .. and on paying their grass roots marketing force (ordinary folk like us) handsomely for the customers gathered on their behalf .. not only once when new but also later, a little payment every time those customers pay their monthly bill, which can currently cover upto 7 services.

So, all you people who have pondered over our "advert" here for independent promoters but either taken no action or else started to take action then had second thoughts as doubts (including self doubt) crept in, isn't it time you let go of your preconceptions and fears and just got out of your own way?
