As of Monday 23rd February 2026 we will provide a P*P Air Rifle / Pistol Filling service as well as filling 300BAR Air Cylinders.

You will need your own probe and a Quick Coupler plug attached to it, if you don’t have either one we sell them both instore.

The fill price is £3 per P*P but you will be expected to carry out the fill yourself .. your P*P, your responsibility if it leaks.

We just provide the equipment for a fee.

Home Office announces amnesty for banned Bruni top or side-venting blank firing pistols
Five top or side-venting blank firers manufactured in Italy by Bruni have been classed as readily convertible fi****ms and are now illegal to own. However, the Home Office has announced an amnesty from prosecution to owners who hand a banned gun in to a police station before 27 February.

The Bruni models, which were deemed readily convertible last September, are:

• 8mm Model 92 blank firing self-loading pistol
• 8mm New Police blank firing self-loading pistol
• 8mm Model 96 blank firing self-loading pistol
• 8mm Model ‘GAP’ blank firing self-loading pistol
• .380R (9mmK) ME Ranger single-action blank firing revolver

Possession of one of these guns after the amnesty period could result in prosecution leading to imprisonment if convicted.

Owners will not face prosecution if they hand one of the listed blank firers in to a police station before the amnesty ends on 27 February. This can be done anonymously if desired.

Keep section 1 firearm & section 2 shotgun licensing separate. I think this would help to protect law-abiding owners, the shooting industry, & rural communities. Policies should focus on real public safety issues without burdening responsible citizens or damaging heritage & livelihoods.

With immediate effect during the winter months when it’s dark, cold and scary the shop will close at 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday … HOWEVER ! if you need us to stay open just give us a call on 01977 675388 at the shop before we close and we will stay open just for you until our normal time of 5pm.
