Have you visited New Lanark World Heritage Village? 📍

Last week, the E3 team had the pleasure of being shown around this historic village and its attractions, including the New Lanark Mill Hotel and Waterhouses and New Lanark Visitor Centre.

The famous Water Wheel is fully functioning again as of this year, and creates enough energy to power the Hotel and Visitor Centre!

New Lanark Hotel is located in the heart of the site,
with:

- Two mills of accommodation facing the heritage town and River Clyde
- Eight self-catering Waterhouses by the river
- Eight event spaces and Roof Garden (wedding venue capacity 120 seated, 175 evening guests)

And New Lanark Visitor Centre has something for all ages and interests, with:

- The Annie McLeod Experience Ride
- Robert Owen’s House
- Millworker’s Houses
- People & Cotton Exhibition
- Tenement Through Time
- Roof Garden

Absolutely fantastic first day on the Tourism Collaboration programme run by Carron Tobin of RuralDimensions, bringing together Tourism businesses large and small from across South Lanarkshire.

Here we are at the wonderful New Lanark UNESCO World Heritage Site, having visited Hamilton Park Race Course in the morning. Both venues offer excellent facilities for weddings, functions, conferences and meetings alike.
