WE’RE HIRING! Operations & Business Manager at Halton Mill 🌿

Fancy a job that combines business, people, community and making a real difference?

Halton Mill is a unique, creative community near Lancaster, home to small businesses, artists, craftspeople, freelancers, social enterprises and community organisations.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and approachable Operations & Business Manager to keep the Mill running smoothly and shape its future.

You’ll be involved in:
*Business operations, finance and budgeting
*Supporting and managing our team
*Building relationships with tenants and our wider community
*Marketing, communications and developing new opportunities
*Cooperative governance and community events
*Helping us deliver our Climate Emergency commitments

We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, is comfortable juggling different responsibilities and genuinely cares about people and community. You will need a finance background, plus knowledge of running a busy business.

This is an opportunity to bring your skills to a very special place and help it flourish.

📍 Halton Mill, near Lancaster

Salary: pro-rata £36-38K depending on experience
Hours: 17 hours - flexible. Minimum 3 days.
Closing date: Sunday 15th November; interviews week commencing 23/11/26
