Spring in the UK isn’t just about bluebells and baby lambs – it’s also prime time for fungi spotting 🍄 From tiny delicate caps hiding in moss to colourful brackets on fallen logs, woodland floors suddenly come to life once the weather warms and the rain does its thing.
If you’re heading out for a walk, take a slower pace and look closely at rotting wood, damp leaf litter and shady patches under trees – you’ll start noticing all sorts of shapes, colours and textures popping up. It’s a great excuse to get outside, reconnect with nature and maybe snap some photos of the weirdest and most wonderful finds.
