A showcase of finishes.

Our new signage gave us the opportunity to bring three distinctive PowderLux finishes together in one place: Seafoam, Nuevo Oxide and Rustic Bronze.

Each offers its own character, demonstrating the variety of appearances that can be achieved through specialist powder coating.

DURABLE POWDER COATING: IT'S ALL IN THE PROCESS
A durable powder coated finish doesn't just happen when a part comes out of the oven. The quality of the finished coating depends on every stage of the process.
1. SURFACE PREPARATION
Before coating, the surface needs to be properly prepared. Components are sanded using a sander to remove imperfections and create a suitable surface for the powder to adhere to.
2. POWDER SELECTION
The right powder needs to be selected for the application. We use products such as Interpon D1036 and Interpon D2525, depending on the requirements of the project and the level of durability required.
3. POWDER APPLICATION
The powder is applied evenly to the prepared component, creating the foundation for the final finish. Consistent application is essential for achieving an even appearance and reliable coverage.
4. CURING
The coated components are then cured in our state-of-the-art oven. Controlled heat allows the powder to melt and cure, forming the durable, hard-wearing finish that powder coating is known for.
Every stage has a purpose. From preparing the surface to selecting the right powder and achieving the correct cure, getting the process right is what helps us deliver a consistent, durable finish.
The finished product is only as good as the process behind it.

A fresh look for Spray Shop 👌

We’ve given the front of the building a bit of a refresh, with a new anthracite finish in RAL 7016 and our new signage now in place.

A few changes can make a big difference. We’re pretty pleased with how it’s turned out!
