It's feeling a little more autumnal here in Todmorden, it takes me back to the October wedding between Idris and Katie last year. I've known Idris since he did work experience in the school where I work. It's hard to believe I've known him for so long! But it makes it even more of an honour and a joy to photograph his wedding. Getting to hanging out with him from getting ready until after I'd finished with the cameras.

It was a great joy to see him marry his perfect match Katie and have the opportunity to get to know Katie a little bit more. During our consultations and on the day 🙂

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Beth and Jack's wedding. Working with Jack and Beth to make these images was a delight. From our pre wedding meetings to the big day itself. Also shout out to their friends and family who made me feel very welcome for the whole occasion.

Creating wedding photos for couples is always a joy and after a while with nothing booked in, this day really reminded me of how fun it can be.

I really enjoyed the choice of first dance music Everlong (acoustic) by Foo Fighters has always been a favourite of mine.

My first time working at the .The staff there are lovely and it's such a lovely venue to produce photographs in and the food is great too!

One of my favourite shoots of the year was for the Clay Academy. Watching Shar ( ) and Laura ( ) in their element teaching pottery was a pleasure to see.

The laughs, fun, inquisitive expressions and progress were so fun to capture. Not to mention how cool the actual pottery process is as a subject.
The Clay Academy is a fabulous place to learn and have fun, classes are selling now.

I love a party, I love being there and seeing everyone having fun. I love bringing people together to have a good time. Although I rarely enjoy a dance I more often than not feel too awkward. But I live for the chats off to the side, to feel like everyone is having a good time. To observe and experience.

But I definitely have felt like I could be involved more in the action. But with photography suddenly I can be right in the middle, no more awkwardness only continuous opportunities to take great photos. Infact I enjoy it that much the bride from my last wedding had to send me home! So much so that I'm going to an option for extended party coverage instead of getting ready photos. For those that want the party captured more than the preparations. Here's a couple photos just for fun at my friend Eugene's wedding and the last 2 are from my career.

There are moments that
happen when you experience a hug, a kiss, a speech, a
laugh... that you couldn't possibly have seen.

The moment you close your eyes for a kiss. The look of
happiness on your best friends face as they give you a
hug. The reactions to a best man's speech that you
couldn't see through your own laughter.

There's something special about these moments you
have experienced but have never seen. I don't want to
only document what you experienced, I want to
document the unseen. So you can discover and relive
them forever more.

Hello there! I'm Jerome and I'm super passionate about wedding photography. It is without a doubt the best job I have ever done in my life. I know traditionally a wedding is the best day in the life of just the newlyweds.

But here I am having the the best day of my life too, I have found my life's calling. I was lucky that one of the guests was a photographer and I'm grateful he was kind enough to capture me at the end of this joyous event.

Maybe one day soon we will work together allowing my dreams to persist, while I capture yours. So you can relive them forever more.

Starting a business is an odd one There's no time limit on when you want to be fully up and running. And you make all the decisions! Although I am getting there! I have 3 weddings booked in for this year so far 🎉🎉 in my first year I'm doing my best to fit into couples budgets while I flesh out my portfolio. So drop me a message here if you are interested 🙂
