Matt Townsend is a UK-based touring and session drummer based in Guildford, Surrey. Inspired by Travis Barker of Blink-182, he began playing drums at the age of 10.

Some of his career highlights include appearances at Reading & Leeds, Mighty Hoopla, Y Not Festival, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, and Britain’s Got Talent with Harry Churchill. His recording credits include Abbey Road Studios, Decoy Studios, Maida Vale, and Metropolis Studios.

It’s not just drummers we work with, it’s also the guys & girls who look after the drums & drummers 🥁💪🏼 we have many friends working behind the scenes ensuring what we experience out front works night after night, gig after gig … superstars the lot of them 👊🏼🤩 we’re stoked to welcome one of them today to our Protection Racket family, the very lovely (and extremely busy!!) JayTechs 🥁🕺🏻Ejay Harewood 🔥 This from Ejay:-

I’m Ejay (JayTechs) and I’m a Backline Technician.
