🔧 Investing in our team, investing in quality! 🪟

A couple of our installers have spent the last few days sharpening their skills with specialist Origin window and door installation training.

At Horizon Home Improvements, we believe that delivering the best products is only half the job — making sure they’re installed to the highest possible standard is just as important. 👌

By continually developing our team’s knowledge and skills, we can ensure our customers receive the quality, attention to detail and professional finish they deserve.

🥶 TOO COLD IN WINTER. TOO HOT IN SUMMER. SOUND FAMILIAR?

For many homeowners, the conservatory is the room that gets abandoned when winter arrives.

You turn the heating on… but the room still feels cold.
You sit down with a coffee… and find yourself reaching for a blanket. ☕🥶

But what if your conservatory could become one of your favourite rooms again?

A replacement solid warm roof could be the answer. 🏡

We install Icotherm conservatory roof systems, designed with high levels of insulation to help transform your conservatory into a comfortable space that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

And you don’t have to lose the character of your conservatory.

You can choose from different roof styles, finishes, tiles and even roof windows, giving you the opportunity to create a space that feels more like a natural extension of your home.

🔥 Highly insulated
🏡 Designed for year-round use
☀️ Optional roof windows for natural light
🎨 Choice of styles and finishes
✅ Building Control compliant
🔧 Designed to minimise disruption

Imagine turning that cold, unused conservatory into somewhere you actually want to spend time this winter.

More warmth. More comfort. More usable space.

If your conservatory has become the coldest room in the house, get in touch with Horizon Home Improvements and let’s see what we can do.

Timeless Elegance, Modern Performance ✨

These beautiful VEKA Omnia Flush Casement windows in a classic Cream finish perfectly complement the character of this stunning property.

Featuring elegant astragal bars, the design captures the appearance of traditional timber windows while delivering all the benefits of modern uPVC technology. The flush sash sits neatly within the frame, creating clean lines and an authentic heritage aesthetic that suits both period and contemporary homes alike.

The soft cream colour works beautifully against the rendered façade, while the carefully proportioned glazing bars add depth, symmetry and character throughout the elevation.

✅ Authentic flush casement appearance
✅ Traditional astragal bar detailing
✅ Energy efficient and low maintenance
✅ Secure, high-performance VEKA Omnia system
✅ Designed to enhance the character of your home

A fantastic example of how modern window systems can preserve traditional charm without compromising on performance.

📍 Visit our showroom in Launceston to explore the VEKA Omnia range and discuss your next home improvement project.

A beautiful blend of materials 🤩

This Bel’m S-148 Alusteel entrance door sits perfectly within this characterful porch, complementing the natural oak posts while creating a striking contrast against the granite and stonework.

The combination of contemporary Alusteel with traditional natural materials works brilliantly here — giving the entrance a modern feel while still respecting the character of the property.

A great example of how the right entrance door can become part of the architecture rather than simply an addition to it. 👌

🏡 Framing the View Perfectly

This recent installation features a stunning white VEKA uPVC picture window, designed to make the most of the incredible countryside outlook. By minimising visible framing and maximising the glazed area, the view becomes the focal point of the room, bringing natural light and the landscape inside.

A simple but effective design that completely transforms the feel of the space. 🌿☁️

We’re proud to have recently donated and installed new windows and doors at Callington Town Football Club’s clubhouse. ⚽

“As Chairman of Callington Town Football Club, and on behalf of our committee, players, supporters and the wider community who use our clubhouse, I would like to say a massive thank you to Andrew Jones and his amazing team at Horizon Home Improvements for their extraordinary generosity.

So many community clubs are struggling, and without the support of people like Andrew and local businesses such as Horizon, many simply would not survive.

All I would ask of our local community is this: please support the businesses that support us.

The new glazing looks absolutely fantastic, and your generosity will benefit our club and the wider community for many years to come.”

Thank you, Ian, for your kind words.

We wish everyone at Callington Town Football Club the very best for the season ahead and look forward to seeing the clubhouse continue to serve players, supporters and the wider community for many years to come. ⚽
