You know it… women are constantly being told that more will make everything easier…

Take from someone that used to shop “A lot”

More trends
More inspiration
More colours
More links
More new things every season

But the opposite is true.
I am the testiment to that.

Who is the “new” all the time helping anyway?
It certainly was not helping me, my style, my wallet, the planet…

The best thing you can add to your wardrobe, is a little less noise.

The biggest change I see is not you, going shopping.

Neither is someone discovering their perfect colour or a new favourite silhouette.

It’s the moment they realised:

“Oh! i didn’t actually need what I thought I needed”

🤫You don’t always need more.
🤫You don’t always need a new style.
🤫You don’t need to follow every trend or rebuild your wardrobe or 🤫style from scratch.

🫢Sometimes you just need to understand your clothes more precisely.
🫢Sometimes, you need the right version of something.
🤗Sometimes, you need contrast.
🤗Sometimes you meed balance.

And sometimes, you just need CLARITY.

The most valuable thing you can add to your wardrobe and style.

I don’t fall in love anymore 🤦🏻‍♀️
I used to go to shops and love A LOT OF THINGS.

And I used to buy those things.

The change of season was my excuse to change wardrobes.

But I wonder: Where are those clothes now anyway?
Most of them are not with me any more (this outfit is although trousers got ruinned on the move to Barcelona, my fault, left the wrong box outdoors for a while, I was gutted)

Anyway…I guess until a fashion buying studies that made me fell flat in my face: WHAT THE HELL IM I DOING WITH MY MONEY & TIME?

Knowing how the collections are created and the rush of it all
(Your new clothes are only liked until the next thing comes around)
Was not serving me anymore. Not style, not wardrobe, not wallet.

I learned I did not have to stop cold turkey to shop but I needed a change.

To stop. Assess. See who I was. Start again.

And it worked!

Strategy over constant shopping.

Now: I don’t fall in love any more with everything, I let things find me. 🙌
