Come closer…

I learned how fashion buyers create collections, yes.

And came out thinking about myself as a consumer: There was an irony there.

The biggest shift did not come from learning more about style.
It came from treating it in the same thought and intention the fashion buyer use when building a collection.

No more rules, no more shopping, just better decisons… for ME.

When you become clearer about who you are.
What you value
How you want to be perceived.
What deserves a place in your life (and what doesn’t)

After I turned 40, I’ve stopped looking for the one thing that will finally make my style fall into place.

For a long time (very) I thought the answer was hidden in colours, patterns, more clothes, better outfits or the next purchase.

But style has become much simpler than that.

I’ve learned that not everything I like belongs in my wardrobe.

That building a style and wardrobe is less about adding and more about refining.

None of these were mistakes really.

They were part of learning what matters and what doesn’t.

Style feels very different these days when you stop chasing answers and start paying attention to your own patterns. 🥂

The fashion Industry creates collections with intention.

Every piece has a purpose
Every decision supports a bigger picture.
Every collection is built around a point of view.

I’ve often wondered why we don’t apply the same thinking to our own style and wardrobes.

Instead of collecting more…what if we curate more?

What if we choose pieces because they contribute to something we’re building, rather than because they happened to catch our eye in a moment?

To me, style becomes far more interesting whe we step into the role of our own fashion buyer.

No following rules
Not chasing trends

Making decisions with intention, clarity amd a strong sense of who we are.

I know what I am looking for…🤓

Women are under constant change. And the overwhelm of info about who they should be is confusing.

The opposite to overwhelm is do nothing, but there is a middle point 🥂

Women do know who they are (please Industry don’t tell us otherwise)

They just have to read the clues. And I know what I am looking for.

Women come to me thinking they need clothes, they actually need identity, presence and alignment.

Between what they are internally and what the outside world sees.

When we see the clues? That’s it! You stop chasing, and your presence finally starts supporting the woman you’ve already become.
