Every new operative joining Smarter Highway Solutions brings their own qualifications, experience, knowledge and drive — and we’re looking forward to seeing what each of them brings to an already fantastic team.

For us, growing the business isn’t simply about increasing numbers. It’s about bringing the right people together — people who take pride in what they do, support those around them and want to be part of something long term.

As Co-Director of Smarter Highway Solutions, Rachel has helped shape the business from the ground up.

When SHS was founded in 2021, Rachel set out to build more than just an office—she helped build the systems, processes and foundations that have supported the company's growth.

From creating the office systems that keep SHS running efficiently to supporting the team and helping drive the business forward, Rachel has played a part in every stage of the journey.

Rachel has also gained traffic management qualifications and, when the business has needed it, hasn't hesitated to put on the PPE and head out on site to support the team.

Traffic management may be a traditionally male-dominated industry, but Rachel believes success comes from teamwork, commitment and leading by example.

From one vehicle to a dedicated depot, a modern fleet and an incredible team, she's incredibly proud of how far SHS has come—and even more excited for what's still to come.

As our HSEC Manager and in-house sign specialist, Jai produces bespoke traffic management signs using our dedicated sign-making equipment, ensuring our customers receive the signage they need, exactly when they need it.

By manufacturing signs in-house, we're able to respond quickly to changing project requirements and provide a complete traffic management solution—from planning and CAD drawings right through to sign production and on-site delivery.
