An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a confident and highly motivated Multi Skilled Engineer with a mechanical / electrical / air conditioning background (ideally Electrical Bias) to become an integral member of our Select 1 team.
Installation of containment systems at high and low level throughout industrial laundry plants including the installation of all hosing, control cabling, plc wiring, transfer pumps, dosing pumps and induction welded poly prop pipes.
Full on-site training will be provided.
You will be required to work autonomously or with a team to develop the successful
projects through clear strategy provided with a proactive commitment nationally and on occasions internationally.
Main Duties
路 Install new and upgrade manufacturing plant and equipment
路 Installation of all hosing, control cabling, plc wiring, transfer pumps, dosing pumps and induction welded poly prop pipes
路 Working with sites Permit to work and risk assessment systems
路 To accurately complete job records and update as required
路 To comply with all Company regulations as detailed in the Select 1 Employment handbook
路 To comply with company quality/Environmental/ H&S Policies and procedures
路 Performs other duties as assigned
路 Working alongside a supervisor
Essential Criteria
路 An electrical or multi skilled engineering discipline, hands on experience with demonstratable track record of success.
路 Familiar with safe systems of work, such as permit to work, hot works, confined space.
路 Excellent team player and able to work under own initiative
路 Good Communication skills
路 Ability and willingness to learn new skills
Desirable Criteria
路 Experience within a manufacturing setting, ideally from a Chemical background but not essential
路 Mechanical / electrical background preferred but not essential
路 Awareness of working with biological hazards
路 Experience of working with Mobile platforms
