We’re having a skill swap, so bring a skill, learn a skill. It’s that simple and doesn’t have to be related to your business.

Tuesday 15th September, 10am - Virtual Co-working.
This one is for members only, join me online from wherever you call your office!

Wednesday 23rd September, 9:30am - Coffee,Cake & Co-working.

I’ve heard this nugget of advice COUNTLESS times from my Dad.

But, it’s easier said than done, especially when you run your own business.
Sometimes we spend more energy worrying about the thing than actually dealing with it.

This week, ask yourself:
Can I do something about it?
If yes, take the first step.
If not, pop it in a balloon and let it go (actual advice from my Mum) and put your energy somewhere that will move you forward.

**PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 📢**

It’s about to get a little quieter around here over the summer holidays.

Why? Because I’m one person, running two businesses and raising a small human. She starts primary school in September, so this summer is all about making memories, eating too many ice creams, having adventures and, hopefully, avoiding the occasional tantrum. 😅

That doesn’t mean The Fold is taking a break though.

Our events are still going ahead as usual, so if you’re a self-employed woman in Leeds looking for community, co-working or relaxed networking, we’d love to see you.

It’s World Emoji Day, so I’ve translated the classic networking experience... 🫣 ➡️

The Fold was created because I needed a space to escape traditional networking. It just wasn’t right for me, and I think it’s safe to say a lot of you feel the same way.

We don’t do stuffy suits or forced elevator pitches here. Just real chats, good vibes, and a community of self-employed Leeds women who actually have your back. 😊
