I am currently working with a technology recruitment company who want to appoint three or four trainee sales support staff to work from their offices in Harrogate. This is a unique opportunity in the recruitment sector, in the sense that you do not need existing experience to apply and in your first year alone, could earn up to 45k (with a basic salary of around 18-20k).
Although existing experience is not needed, an ideal applicant will need self-confidence, good communication skills and - more importantly - the ability to stay focused, work hard and be determined to achieve positive results. This isn’t necessarily a job for those who have always dreamt of working in recruitment or looking for a long term career in it, but it can be that, too. So it could appeal to anyone who can commit to a full time role for the next 12 months. Obviously, if you decide to stay beyond that time, great and you will be given the chance to build a fantastic career. However, these roles could also appeal to someone who wants to get a pot of money together quickly, for instance, to pay for their Uni studies or to fund a round-the-world trip in their gap-year or kick-start their own business.

Our client is helping to deliver the UK’s goals for secure, affordable and sustainable energy.

The company is seeking a Contract Manager to deliver the UK’s goals for secure, affordable and sustainable energy.Ideally you will have knowledge of electricity/energy markets and /or carbon capture and hydrogen. Playing a key part in the management of the CfD (Contracts for Difference) scheme our client plays a key role in delivering the UK net zero target.

Following the recent new Allocation Round, this will significantly increase the number of CfDs and also the recent publication of the Business Models for Carbon Capture Usage and Storage, the Scheme Delivery team is also expanding in an effort to prepare for new CFDs and the new CCUS schemes.

There is a significant increase and in CC-US (Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage) and the company is keen to speak with candidates who can offer this experience.

Due to the positioning of the client within Government and the Energy sector, performance is not measured against a bottom line, but instead there are two guiding principles: to maintain investors' confidence in the CfD scheme and to minimise cost to consumers.

The Contract Manager will be instrumental in forming new team(s) within Scheme Delivery and then managing the respective contracts, engaging on a regular basis with key stakeholders across UK government, regulatory bodies and energy generators.

CANDIDATE

You will have:

Extensive contract management experience

Excellent analytical skills and proven experience in capturing, managing & interpreting data, including performance and settlement data

Knowledge of electricity/energy markets and/or carbon capture and hydrogen

Experience in managing external advisors.

Experience in reviewing repots and the physical progress of a construction project and offering brief and concise summaries for senior audiences is a plus.

This is an exciting time to be joining this company and in this sector, and particularly the Scheme Delivery team which manages CFD's.

The company is looking for two people, one to lead the planning phase the contract management activity and one to support it. The salaries range from 65-75k and 50-60k respectively.
