🏆 Another bit of good news for LLRP…

We’ve been named as a Finalist at The UK Small Business Awards 2026, in the category of Best Financial Services Business.

Out of tens of thousands of small businesses across the UK, we’ve made it through to the final stage – and with tougher entry criteria introduced this year, it’s fair to say I’m pretty chuffed with this one.

When I started Later Life Retirement Planning, it was just me with an idea of how I thought later life advice should be done.

Fast forward to today and we’ve built a brilliant team, helped thousands of clients across the UK, passed 150 five-star Google reviews and picked up a few awards along the way.

None of that happens without the people around me, so this is another one for the whole team. 💙

I’m a little late posting this one… about 7 months late, actually! 😂

Back in February, Later Life Retirement Planning won Best Equity Release Broker at The Mortgage Awards 2026. 🏆

For some reason, I never actually shared it on Facebook at the time.

It was a pretty special one for us. We’ve worked incredibly hard to build LLRP into the business it is today, so to be recognised nationally and actually win was a very proud moment.

As always, the credit goes to the team. The advice, the admin, the case management, the compliance and everything that goes on behind the scenes to look after our clients properly.

And, of course, a massive thank you to our clients for continuing to trust us, recommend us and leave us some incredible reviews.

🎉 We’ve made the final! 🎉

I’m really proud to share that Later Life Retirement Planning has been shortlisted for Best Firm (6–19 Advisors) at this year’s British Later Life Lending Awards 🏆

Last year, we were fortunate enough to win in the ‘5 and under’ category — and to now be finalists again, in a bigger category, feels like a real milestone for us.

It’s been a year of huge growth and, if I’m honest, plenty of challenges along the way — from navigating change at network level to continuing to grow the team and push standards even higher. But through it all, the team’s commitment, resilience, and absolute belief in what we do has never wavered.

We’re in great company alongside Access Equity Release and Viva Retirement Solutions — both fantastic firms that we have a huge amount of respect for. Every one of the finalists would be a deserving winner, so it’ll be a tough call on the night!

Joining a new network has also enabled us to broaden our offering — now including secured loans, standard mortgages, and buy-to-let lending — meaning we can support even more clients with joined-up, whole-of-market solutions.

And as we look ahead to 2026, we’ve been quietly building something new behind the scenes — the launch of our Estate Planning arm, designed to support both our clients....and....the wider industry. More details coming soon… 👀
