It's summertime.

This month we have enjoyed lots of time outside, having fun in the sun. Thanks to our 2 new donated diggers, the little ones have loved playing in 'diggerland' and the sandpit.

We have had lots of chalk art again, as well as playing in the water tray, and the imaginary ice cream shop has been very popular.

The little ones have enjoyed lots of crafting and making this month. We have done some remembrance wreaths for D- day, and fathers day cards, as well as lots of drawing and colouring.

We have some budding construction workers, who have been showing off their skills with magnetics and stickle bricks, as well as cotton reels, and of course lots of imaginative play.

We have also had another birthday this month, and everyone has enjoyed the tea party celebration, and we have even enjoyed a day out at Lotherton Hall to visit the penguins and other animals.

What a busy May we have had.

We have enjoyed lots of time outside, playing on the climbing frames, bikes and scooters, sandpit and chalk art.

The little ones always enjoy dressing up and role playing in the home corner, and we have enjoyed many an imaginary meal.

Our other activites have included some incredible construction work with magnetics and stickle bricks, some beautiful necklace making with cotton reels, and lots of imaginative play.

We have also had a massive 5 birthdays this month, and everyone has enjoyed the tea party celebrations.

And some of our older children have been excited to work on their handwriting skills ready for starting school after the summer too.
