Today is National Manufacturing Day, where we celebrate the diversity, skills and opportunities that make UK manufacturing such an important and productive sector.
Manufacturing encompasses a wide range of industries, from engineering and automotive to aerospace, food and drink, defence, chemical and pharmaceutical. Behind each sector are skilled people designing, developing, making and maintaining the products and machinery that keep industry moving.
At WDS Components, we’re proud to play our part in this industry, drawing on nearly 75 years of engineering experience while continuing to develop skills, knowledge and opportunities for the future. Captive fasteners, which include specialised screws, bolts and nuts, are a smart alternative to the standard, fully threaded fastener.
