My latest lap steel build a 'Serenade', just been delivered to the customer. Body is mahogany with sycamore top and sycamore and walnut rope binding. Bridge, inlays, heel and fretboard are ebony. The headstock is a hybrid slotted / unslotted design allowing easy access to all the tuners whilst the guitar is on your lap.
