A receipt can’t tell you which service pays you the most per hour, not per booking. It can’t name the 5 clients carrying your revenue or tell you when they last came in. It can’t show you which month looked good on the surface but hid your worst margin. It can’t put a number on what your empty slots cost you every single week.

Your Fresha dashboard is not lying to you. It’s just not telling you everything. Revenue, bookings, client count that’s the good and the bad. The ugly never makes it onto the report. Like your most booked service paying you £1.33 per hour after products, platform fees and your labour. Like 5 out of 15 clients quietly generating 52% of your revenue with no system bringing them back. Like cancelled slots walking out with your money because there’s no deposit policy catching them.

Knotless braids, fully booked, 4 to 5 hours per install £1.33 an hour. A silk press would have paid £18.50 an hour and finished in two. That’s a whole calendar built around the service that pays the least. And no booking app flags it.

One dashboard tells you what you made. A profit system tells you what you kept.
