As well as a thank-you message, the back cover can include practical information such as the wake location, full postcode, charity donation details or a link to an online memorial.

This means guests have everything they need in one place, without having to search through separate messages.

At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we help families create beautiful, practical and personalised funeral booklets.

Did you know? The centre pages of a funeral Order of Service can make a beautiful photo spread.

In a stapled funeral booklet, two facing pages can be designed together to display a larger photograph, a collection of memories or a meaningful tribute.

It's a lovely way to give special photographs more space without overcrowding the layout.

🤍 At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we help families create personalised booklets with carefully arranged photographs and wording.

Free professional design assistance and unlimited revisions are included with printing orders.

Should every page of a funeral Order of Service have the same layout?

Not necessarily! Mixing full-page photographs, simple text layouts and carefully arranged photo collages can make a booklet more personal and interesting.

The key is to keep fonts, colours and spacing consistent so the pages flow beautifully together.

At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we help families create thoughtfully designed funeral booklets, with free professional design assistance and unlimited revisions included with printing orders.

Did you know? The way you arrange photographs and text can completely change the appearance of a funeral Order of Service.

Two booklets can contain exactly the same photographs and wording, yet look completely different depending on their layout.

Here are a few simple design techniques that make a difference:

🤍 White space: Leaving some areas empty helps photographs and important wording stand out.

🤍 Visual balance: Placing photographs alongside shorter sections of text can create a more natural flow.

🤍 Consistent alignment: Keeping headings, photographs and text neatly aligned gives the booklet a professional appearance.

🤍 A clear focal point: A larger photograph or meaningful heading can draw attention to the most important part of a page.

🤍 Consistent styling: Using the same fonts, colours and spacing throughout helps all the pages feel connected.

At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we've been helping families create beautifully personalised funeral Order of Service booklets since 2001.

Whether you prefer a traditional, modern, floral or minimalist design, our team can help arrange your photographs and wording into a thoughtful, well-balanced layout.

Did you know? A small printing margin can prevent an important part of your funeral Order of Service from being cut off.

When creating a funeral Order of Service, it's important to leave enough space around the edges of the design.

Professional printers use two important areas:

🖨️ Bleed: Background colours and photographs extend slightly beyond the final page size so there are no unwanted white edges after trimming.

🤍 Safe area:Important details such as names, dates, hymns and readings are kept away from the edges to prevent accidental trimming.

Even a few millimetres can make a difference to the finished booklet!

At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we've been helping families create personalised funeral stationery since 2001.

We offer free professional design assistance, unlimited revisions before approval and high-quality printing, so families can feel confident about their finished Order of Service.

Because a beautiful design deserves an equally beautiful finish. 💗

Did you know? Why are funeral Order of Service booklets sometimes creased before folding?

When thicker card is folded, the printed surface can sometimes crack along the fold, particularly when dark colours or photographs are used.

Professional printers often use a technique called creasing, which helps create a neat fold and reduces the risk of cracking.

🤍 At Funeral Printing by Esmee G, we believe these little details make a difference.

With over 20 years of experience in funeral stationery printing, we've helped more than 5,000 families create beautiful, personalised Order of Service booklets.

We offer:

💗 Free professional design assistance with printing orders

💗 Unlimited design revisions before approval

💗 High-quality printing with a choice of paper and finishing options

💗 Free UK next-day delivery on our standard service

From choosing a template to receiving your finished booklets, we're here to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Someone's Favourite Christmas Memory Could Become Part of Their Farewell.

Did your loved one always host Christmas dinner, insist on putting the decorations up early, or have a favourite festive song?

These little traditions often become the memories families treasure most.

If you're arranging a funeral during the festive season, why not include a special Christmas memory, photograph or family tradition in their funeral order of service?

Did you know? A funeral Order of Service can become a family keepsake for generations.

https://orderofserviceforfuneral.co.uk/free-funeral-order-of-service-templates/

Although an Order of Service is originally created to guide guests through a funeral, many families keep their copies long after the day.

Unlike photographs alone, an Order of Service can preserve important details of someone's life, including:

📖 Their full name and dates

🌸 Favourite poems, hymns and readings

📸 Photographs from different stages of their life

💜 Personal tributes and special memories

Years later, these little booklets can help children, grandchildren and future generations learn more about a loved one they may never have had the chance to meet.

It's not just a booklet for one day. It can be a lasting record of someone's life.

Did you know? The font you choose can make a big difference to your funeral Order of Service.

A beautiful design is important, but so is making sure everyone can read it comfortably.

🤍 Font size: Body text should be large enough to read easily, particularly for older guests.

🤍 Contrast: Dark text on a light background is generally easier to read than pale text over photographs.

🤍 Font style: Decorative fonts can look lovely for names and headings, but simpler fonts are often better for hymns, readings and longer passages.

🤍 Spacing: Leaving enough space between lines makes the booklet feel less crowded.

A well-designed Order of Service should be both beautiful and practical, helping guests follow the ceremony with ease.
