The weather might have cooled down but our BNI meetings sure haven’t🔥

Another cracking meeting with visitors, great guests and wicked amounts of business passed.💷

Not to mention a great weekly presentation by our resident Letting Agent and very own Wolf of Wall Street Rishi Kotak 🐺

Accountability is everything at BNI, which is why we have our traffic light system.

But changes are coming, and our president Chris Garford kindly talked us through what to expect.

We had a great core value on building relationships - which are truly the foundation of both business and life.

We’ve got social events planned, new members thriving, visitors every week, and we’re one of the top 5 chapters in the whole region.

Hydra is absolutely killing it!🙌🏼

All before 8.30am too.

The 3 coffees we drink may have something to do with that too☕️🤣

One final thing - I’m so sad to say it was our beloved Tom Bates’ last day with us at BNI Hydra.

After 4 long and successful years, he’s grown his business(es) to such heights. With offices around the world and working with huge global brands, he’s smashed it⭐️

We’re so proud and grateful to have had Tom as a member and wish him the best of luck moving forward♥️

I’m not talking about the energy in the room, although BNI hydra always has an abundance of that😏

I’m talking SOLAR energy! That’s right ladies & gentleman, we have a new member alert🚨

The brilliant Kaine Smith of KAS electrical has joined Hydra as our dedicated Solar specialist, showing how people and businesses can get free energy from our good old orange ball in the sky🌞

We had some great visitors in the room with us today too, a cracking education slot and core value to keep us learning and as always..

Heaps of fun🥰

Not only is he living a 100mph life running multiple businesses, he’s also a dad and an integral member of BNI Hydra.

He helps to run the membership committee, is a precious part of our leadership teams and we’re lucky to have this chap!🙌🏼

This was a very well deserved reward for all the hard work he puts in. All the valuable education slots he puts in and the knowledge bombs he shares with us.

This guy knows his stuff and we’re grateful he’s a part of our team. Cheers to Tom!🥂

Sparks are flying!!⚡️

No, this isn’t love island, we’ve just had the fantastic electrician Luke join BNI Hydra!🙌🏼

He saw the value in how many referrals we’re passing to each other each week, the strong trades in the room and how much he could grow his business.

It was a no brainer.🧠

This week we had a great core value from Jaz Grewal on lifelong learning (every day’s a school day!) and an education slot from Jason Smith on the importance of roles in BNI.

Mr. Boiler himself David Hickey blessed us with his 10 minute presentation on all things heating, crucial at this time of year! His business has flourished as a long standing member of BNI🔥

We even had some lovely visitors in the room all the way up from London!! We’re clearly worth the trip😏

We grow stronger every week, and there’s always room for more.

£157,000 smackeroonies🦘

That’s how much closed business we passed to one another as a group in the month of January. A single month!🤯

No wonder we’ve got new members joining and applications coming in from people wanting to join our award winning group.🏆

Sarah Whittaker gave a fab core value on the importance of building relationships, which are crucial in both life and business!

Tom Clarke, not only the king of visitors but the top BNI member in the region, gave a great education a lot on how we can all bring more visitors to our fantastic group!🙌🏼

And this week’s 10 minute presentation was Mr Entrepreneur himself Tom Bates. A stellar learning session on all things marketing and Altitude Marketing Ltd. Safe to say he’s grown an incredible business in a short space of time.🌟

This meeting had everything we could’ve asked for and more. What are you waiting for?👀

I’m not crying.. you’re crying😢

Today marks Alex Daly’s last day with us at BNI Hydra. After getting a job offer she couldn’t refuse, she’s moving onto pastures new and we’re so proud of her!🌺

We gave her a meeting to remember, full of visitors, jokes and the usual Hydra fun. Jason Smith mentioned something about birds?👀 if you know you know!

David Hickey gave us a fab education slot on trainings, Matt Harbot threatened everyone with a punch.. uh.. I mean did a core value on givers gain!🥊

And our resident Tiger / mortgage broker / legend Sarah Whittaker gave us the 411 on how she helps her clients buy the houses of their dreams. If you want a house, or to get into debt.. she’s your girl!🏠

As you can see, Hydra isn’t your typical BNI. We like to party.🎉

Growing by the WEEK!📈

We’ve had an influx of new members join BNI Hydra after seeing the real value of how this networking group works.

We don’t turn up, have a coffee, a chin wag and bu**er with 2 useless business cards.🥱

We set goals. We keep each other accountable. We track the referrals and business we pass to each other.🧮

That’s fundamentally why BNI works as well as it does, and the reason it’s the best networking meeting out there, and these new members see that💪🏼

Between around 20 members we’re only months away from passing over £1,000,000 between each other in paid business over a 12 month period.

That’s some serious dosh, even delboy would be impressed👀

There’s a slice of the pie up for grabs for any business that wants in. But it’s first come first served.🥧

And Tom Clarke as our resident 100 point member taught us what it takes to be top of the pops! There’s a lot to be learned from those at the top of their game.

We passed over £110,000 in business in September. We’re well on our way for doing £1,000,000 as a group this year which is phenomenal.

This week was cracking. First up Jaz Grewal reminded us how important it is to recognise one another. The intrinsic motivation from recognition is huge.

Sam Cooper finally stopped talking with his hands in his pockets (huge personal development!) and explained how shouting from the treetops about someone else’s good service does wonders for their business. Testimonials are key!

Top dog Tom Clarke, the strongest IT nerd you’ve ever seen showed us that websites are bloody important. They drive so much traffic to your business, speed up the process and can be the difference between someone using you or a competitor!

Our El Presidenté Chris Garford won member of the month and deservedly so. He works hard to push us forward to reach our goals and holds us together as a solid chapter. We’re lucky to have him. (Don’t let this go to your head🤣).
