Future Signs require an experienced Sign Maker to assist in manufacturing, assembling, a wide range of signage for commercial, industrial, and public sector clients.
The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Manufacture a variety of signs, including vinyl graphics, illuminated signs, vehicle graphics, banners, and wayfinding signage.
• Operate sign-making equipment such as vinyl cutters, printers, and laminators.
• Apply vinyl graphics accurately to signs, vehicles, windows, and other surfaces.
• Assemble and finish signage using materials including acrylic, aluminium, PVC, composite panels, and timber.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, artwork, and customer specifications.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain equipment and keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time.
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in sign manufacturing.
• Proficiency with large-format printing, vinyl application, and sign assembly techniques.
• Experience using industry software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of different sign materials and fabrication methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence (often essential).

This role typically suits someone with 2–5+ years of experience who can confidently oversee projects from production through to installation while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
