Weston Park Air Show looms large and, to be honest, we can’t wait. Preparations here have been gearing up over the last few weeks not least because we’ve got more to show you than ever before. With all the top brands under one roof there’ll be stacks to see, much to admire and temptation wherever you look.

Products from Futaba, Seagull, Max Thrust, FMS, Hitec, Radient, Arrows, Top RC, Twister, Zenoah, Stinger and Enjet will be on show, along with anything else we can cram in the lorry.

Hanno Prettner’s 1975 Tournament of Champions winning pattern aerobat is legendary, having opened the eyes of the R/C world to a design whose flying qualities were pure. The win, and the aeroplane, helped elevate a young Prettner to celebrity status, not least because the Curare used inspired design to ensure neutral longitudinal stability, a harmonised, locked-in control response and a performance-driven power to weight ratio.

With the current retro aerobatic scene displaying such growth, this striking 64" span interpretation by Seagull is going to be massively popular. Get along to your local model shop and get your order in for delivery in early September. Two colours are coming with and without retracts.
