About Us

Trading as Thompson Cleaning Services since 1992, we have built up a good, solid client base over a wide range of commerce and industry in Shetland over the past 24 years. Initially only providing basic contract cleaning services, we have evolved and currently offer 24/7 accommodation management services, building services (including key holding, security and minor works) and specialist cleaning. We can provide deep cleaning services, initial cleaning for building contractors, kitchen cleaning for hotels, restaurants, cruise ships and accommodation barges, Spring cleans, Autumn cleans and moving cleans for houses and homes. If you are a property owner living away from Shetland, Thompson Facilities Management Ltd can act as a one stop contact for your Shetland property, keeping a careful check on it, arranging maintenance and having it completely cleaned for your arrival. We are a medium sized, independent company, small enough to respond quickly to individuals and companies, but large enough to deal with large detailed undertakings and projects.
