And once again, it delivered.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with Cabinair Group, whether it was a quick chat or a longer deep dive.

Same challenges, different approaches.
And that’s exactly what makes these moments valuable.

8 days to go.

In a week’s time, AALBF will be in full swing in Hong Kong, bringing together airlines from across the region for three days of real, unfiltered discussions.

Our Strategic Sales Manager, Dave Spalding, will be there from June 9–11 where those conversations tend to start.

And usually don’t end there.

Everyone talks about speed in aviation. Faster turnarounds, quicker repairs, less downtime. But behind the scenes, it’s rarely just about “fixing something”.

Sometimes it’s about understanding what’s really broken.
Sometimes it’s about paperwork.
Sometimes it’s about waiting for a tiny component you wouldn’t even notice.

In this second episode of “Did You Know?” we asked Paul Colbert, our Operations Director, what actually impacts repair timelines day to day. These are the things you don’t see, but that make all the difference.

A new step for Cabinair Group in Asia-Pacific.

We have entered into a strategic partnership with Summit Lenso to develop a new aircraft modification and cabin solutions platform in Asia-Pacific, with initial operations in Thailand.

By combining Cabinair Group’s design, certification and modification capabilities with Summit Lenso’s certified aerospace manufacturing facility and strong local presence, the collaboration enables a fully integrated approach, from engineering and certification through to manufacturing, installation and in-service support.

It brings the full modification process closer to the region, from design and certification to manufacturing and installation.

Asia-Pacific continues to be one of the most dynamic aviation markets globally, driven by fleet expansion, connectivity upgrades and the growing demand for cost-effective cabin refurbishment solutions. Within this landscape, Thailand is emerging as a key strategic hub.

Cabinair Group already has an established footprint in the region through its Sri Lanka-based subsidiary AeroKnow, alongside its operations in Italy, Latvia and the United States.

“We see Asia-Pacific as a key region for the future of aircraft modifications. By combining our certification and engineering capabilities with strong local expertise, we can offer a faster, more flexible and more efficient way to support airlines and operators in the region.” Vito Mirko Giacovelli, Commercial Director, Cabinair Group

“Partnering with Cabinair Group allows us to expand into certified aircraft modification programmes while building on our manufacturing strengths. This collaboration positions us to play a more active role in supporting both regional and international aviation customers.” Tatiya Meemeskul, President, Summit Lenso
