At TUM we are blessed with superb staff. They don't just help every single customer on a personal level, they give you the advice you need as a parent, like whether you really need to buy the long-sleeved top yet, or if the teenagers actually wear the black sports socks! We thrive on honesty and we hope it saves North Herts parents money on school uniform.
Please be kind to my super staff this week and remember that it's not their fault if something is not in stock. It was at the beginning of the holidays when we asked everyone to order! Stitchy McStitchyson/my long suffering embroiderer/husband is working as hard as he can to embroider logos onto our plain stock, but the list is about 2 weeks long.
Happy last full week of the hols.

You know how the website says "Orders submitted after Tuesday 18th may not be ready before term starts"? I didn't specifically mean, could you all submit orders on the 17th August.
But thank you. We are on it guys. If we look frazzled in the shop, it's because we are. When the shop is not open, we are still working behind the scenes. Wish us luck.

🥵CHANGE OF OPENING TIMES THIS WEEK🥵
Due to the predicted, ridiculous heat we are expecting on Wednesday and Thursday this week and the fact that the sun shines on the shop directly and makes it unpleasantly hot for my staff we have decided to open earlier and close earlier on those 2 days. So, for this week only, for those 2 days, the opening hours are:
WEDNESDAY 12th August 9am - 2pm
THURSDAY 13th August 9am - 2pm
If you were planning to come on either of those two days please take note of the times.
Apologies to all teenagers who like to stay in bed until 2pm.

Ok folks, the summer holidays for schools are beginning. As usual, we ask for your patience and understanding during this incredibly busy time. Above all, we beg you not to leave your online ordering, or visiting the shop to the very last minute please.
Our cut off date on which we guarantee you will get your order before the schools go back is 16th August. We will, of course do our best for anyone who orders after this, or pops into the shop after this date - but you are risking us not having something in stock and there are hundreds of people in the queue in front of you.
It matters to us that students starting a new school have their correct uniform the day they start, but it is your responsibility as a parent/carer to sort that out for them.

Have a fun-filled few weeks with the kiddos, and do your best with the grumpy teens. You will all get through it - we promise!

Have you got an excited Year 6 child about to become a Year 7 at KTS, Highfield or Fearnhill?
Book an appointment and we will talk you through everything you need to start secondary school in September. Also, we are here to advise on what you probably don’t need to buy yet and certainly what you will not need at all, no matter what those huge lists of equipment say. Don’t panic - come and chat to us.

Just a quick note to let you all know that we are closed next week during half term, so please, please, think about what you might need when they all go back on 1st June and pop in to us on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May.

The website is always open, but the shop is closed from 4pm on 23rd until 10am on the 2nd June.
