Ever come out of a meeting feeling like everything is clear…

then realise a week later nothing has actually moved forward?

It happens more often than most businesses realise.

I’ve pulled together why that is, and how to fix it.

Most strategy meetings feel productive, but little actually happens afterwards. Here’s why and how to fix it.

The house is quiet.
The kids are asleep.
And he's still in the office, working through another pile of emails and reports.

He told himself he'd stop in time for storytime.
But once again… he didn’t.

This isn’t new. It’s been happening for a while.
The business is growing, yes — but so is the guilt.
He’s tired. And torn.
Because he wants to be present with his family… but the work keeps piling up.

What he really needs isn’t more hours — it’s less on his plate.

Someone to clear the inbox.
Prep the reports.
Tidy up the calendar.
And yes, even write that LinkedIn post he keeps putting off.

That’s where I come in.

I work with business owners who need calm, capable support — so they can shut the laptop before bedtime… and be where they actually want to be.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), message me.
It doesn’t have to stay like this.

“What if they don’t do it like me?”
“What if something slips through the cracks?”
“What if my clients notice?”

Delegating anything in your business can feel like a massive leap of faith, especially when you're the one who built it all from scratch.

It’s not that you're being controlling, it's just that you care!

Your care for your clients, your brand, and your reputation.

But doing everything yourself comes at a cost. A cost to your time, energy, and brain space.

In this week’s newsletter, I look at how to approach delegation as a process, not a knee-jerk reaction.

✅ How to start safely
✅ What to delegate first
✅ And how to stay in control while freeing up time

If the thought of letting someone else into your business scares the pants off you… this one's for you

Worried delegation means losing control? Here's how to let go safely, protect client relationships, and free up your time.

Not all hours are created equal.

You might have an hour free at 4pm…

But is it the right hour for the work you’re trying to do?

High-focus tasks need high-energy time. This is for when you are at your best.

Admin and emails? Save them for when your brain’s running on 60%.

Your calendar isn’t just about time. It's got a lot to do with figuring out when you have the right energy for the tasks too.

Try this for a week:
Do your most important work during your most alert hours and save the lower effort stuff for later.

“I used to drown in email. My inbox was chaotic and stressful!” Sound familiar? That’s exactly what one of my clients was facing. Here’s how we turned it all around.

Meet Mark, a busy coach and consultant who came to me feeling overwhelmed by his cluttered inbox, there were so many emails it was becoming unbearable to even open it.

His productivity was suffering, and he knew something had to change.

Here’s what we did, using these 4 Key Rules:

Prioritise and Categorise:
Together, we created a system to categorise his emails into Urgent, Meeting Requests, and Reference folders. No more missing important emails or feeling buried under non-urgent tasks!

Time Block Your Schedule:
Instead of spending his day reacting to emails or dreading looking at them, we carved out a system for him to check his emails at a time that suited his diary. The rest of his time is now focused, uninterrupted work.

Use Automation and Reminders:
We automated email sorting and set up auto-responses for common requests, drastically reducing the time Mark spent on repetitive tasks. Reminders keep him on top of meetings and deadlines.

Review and Reflect: Each week, Mark now reviews his inbox, archiving what’s no longer relevant and reprioritising upcoming tasks. This has helped him to stay proactive instead of reactive.

The Result - Mark’s productivity and focus have increased, his stress levels dropped, and he’s no longer playing email catch-up!

If you’re ready to take back control of your inbox like Mark did, let’s talk! Drop a comment below or send me a message, and we’ll get you on the path to productivity in no time.

Feel like managing emails is taking over your whole day?

This is a really common problem that most of us have had at one time or another!

Those emails can eat up hours before you know where you are, the morning has gone and it’s lunchtime already! This is especially true when you’re trying to also juggle a million other things.

If you’re spending more time stuck in your inbox than actually running your business, it might be time for a change.

Imagine how much more you could get done if your emails weren’t constantly pulling you away or distracting you!

This is where I come in. As a friendly UK-based Virtual Assistant, I work with business owners to clear out their inboxes and take control back of their time. So, if sorting through emails is not how you want to spend your day, I’ve got you covered!

Drop a comment if you’ve ever felt buried by your inbox! 👇

Let's talk about how I can help make your day a little lighter.

Worrying that hiring a VA is going to be too expensive, let me share an interesting fact.

According to the British Coffee Association, 80% of people visiting coffee shops do so at least once a week, whilst 16% of us visit on a daily basis. The stats show that the average spend per visit in the UK is £13.85.

My hourly rate is £35.

If you are visiting once a week then by just halving this you could have support in your business for an hour a month. Now if you are in the daily visit group this goes up to an hour a week.

A win, right? Spending no more than you do already just on something that could reduce your worries that you’ve missed an email in the sea of messages in your inbox or meaning you can reduce the hours that you spend working into the evenings, giving you more time with your family and to unwind.

What would you do with an extra few hours every week? Me, I’d probably make a coffee (the irony!) and get outside for a walk and fresh air.

Let me know in the comments.
