Another school making the most of solar through our fully funded PPA with The Education Impact Academy Trust ☀️👇

In this video, we take a look at our completed installation at Wilson Stuart School, showcasing how solar is helping another school within the Trust generate its own renewable electricity.

The system consists of:

☀️ 143.10 kWp installed capacity
🔲 270 solar panels
⚡ 1 inverter + 136 optimisers
📈 120.25 MWh expected annual generation
🌍 23.25 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided
🌳 Equivalent to 1,068 trees planted

The system will help Wilson Stuart generate renewable electricity on-site, reduce reliance on grid energy and make measurable progress towards the Trust's wider sustainability goals.

Fully funded PPAs give schools and academy trusts a practical route to lower energy costs and sustainability targets, without the need for significant upfront investment.

Solar for a local Co-op with 140 years of community at its heart ☀️

We’re delivering a series of solar installations for Tamworth Co-op, starting with their Dosthill store.

The 38.69 kWp system includes:

☀️ 73 LONGi 530W solar panels
⚡ 37 SolarEdge optimisers
🔋 1 SolarEdge 36.67kW inverter
📈 40+ MWh expected annual generation
🌳 7+ tonnes of CO₂ savings, equivalent to 361 trees

Founded in 1886, Tamworth Co-op has a long history of supporting the communities it serves. Now, its investment in solar is helping bring that same long-term thinking to its approach to energy and sustainability.

The system will help significantly reduce the store’s energy costs while generating more of its electricity on site and lowering its carbon footprint.

And this is just the start.

We recently announced our first fully funded PPA. Now take a look at what that looks like in practice 👇☀️

In this video, we look at our completed installations at and Queensbury Discovery & Quest - two of the five schools included in our Power Purchase Agreement with The Education Impact Academy Trust.

Together, their systems total:

☀️ 130.45 kWp
🔲 258 solar panels
⚡ 2 inverters + 166 optimisers
📈 112.29 MWh expected annual generation
🌳 997 trees equivalent

All of this without any upfront capital outlay and completed outside of term time to minimise disruption to pupils and staff.

Our fully funded PPAs give schools a straightforward route to solar without needing to find the capital investment upfront, helping Trusts reduce energy costs, generate renewable power and make progress towards their climate action plans.

Solar doesn’t have to be a big capital project. A PPA can make it much more accessible.

112.6 kWp > 91 MWh > £21,750 ☀️

Our installation at Redhill Primary Academy is now complete!

The project was carefully planned and completed outside of the school term, helping us minimise disruption while delivering the installation safely and efficiently.

The 112.6 kWp solar PV system includes 256 solar panels, 128 optimisers and a 90 kW three-phase SolarEdge inverter, alongside a SolarEdge Modbus meter to monitor energy import and export.

The system is expected to generate 91 MWh of renewable energy each year, equivalent to around 813 trees planted.

One of the key benefits for the school is the financial return:

💷 £21,750 expected yearly savings
📈 4–5 year expected payback period

That means the school can reduce its electricity costs while generating its own renewable energy, helping to lower carbon emissions and put more of its energy budget towards the things that matter most.

For schools, it’s a practical way to make progress on sustainability while delivering a strong long-term financial return.

Our first fully funded PPA! 🙌

In the video, our Managing Director, Declan Adams discusses our recent Solar Power Purchase Agreement with The Education Impact Academy Trust.
