We had a brush with fame last week when we received a phone call from the BBC. They wanted to interview an expert who understands tree legislation for the TV series ‘Rip off Britain’ about the issue of landowners and their duty of care.

Unfortunately it was a somewhat last minute request and we had to politely decline due to other commitments. Oh well, maybe we will find celebrity status some other time!

This morning we headed to the Staffordshire countryside to survey the trees in a churchyard, ably assisted by the youngest member of the Apex team. It was a pretty site with a nice mix of trees including lime, yew, plum and apple.
