Refuelling area 7/8th scale water tower and coal bunker kits released. Water tower has brick tower block with water tank and sloped roof, outspout with turnwheel valve and rubber hose as well as a stores area.Stands 14.5in (370mm) high with 4.5in (115mm) square tower base.

Coal bunker has a brick effect base with planked floor and retaining walls, with vertical planks riveted with dowels to form the bunker. Has a sloped loading ramp with built in coal shoot for dropping loads behind the ramp and comes with loading wheelbarrow.

New 7/8th scale models progressing for a 2 motor diesel and a 4 motor Bo-Bo style diesel locomotive. Both will be launched shortly as kits.

The small industrial diesel has a gear box with two motors mounted onto a reduction gear driving down to a main drive shaft below the floor mounted on roller bearings that then drives through steel worm gears to each axle.28mm heavy steel axle sets with roller bearings.6800maH 12V battery pack with bi-directional lights (10mm white 5mm red)

The Bo-Bo diesel has four motors mounted each end of the bogies driving through reduction gears down to a main drive shaft held in ball race bearings then uses steel worm gears to drive each axle. 28mm heavy steel wheels with ball race axle bearings. 20000maH 12V battery pack, Bi-directional lights with cab light and illuminated driving console.

Prices will be announced soon when the kits and parts are all finalised.

NEW 7/8th scale industrial range of wagons launched to compliment our slate wagon. These have the smaller footprint than our standard 120mm wide wagons with the chassis being only 96mm wide.

The slate and platform wagons are 160mm long, with the box van, open wagon and heavy tipper wagons measuring 172mm long. The small hudson style tipper has an oval chassis 75mm wide by 155mm.

These wagons all use a heavy metal axle and 28mm wheel sets with roller bearings, giving them a good weight and low centre of gravity. All come supplied as kits with Binnies buffer couplings, except the mini tipper that uses chain and pin couplings.

Kits will be £30 per wagon or four for £110. The mini tipper wagons will be £28

They will be on the north pilton website by mid week.
