A team of our incredible staff members at Freedom are lacing up their boots and taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a demanding 24-mile trek covering Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all in support of a fantastic cause that is close to the hearts of everyone at Freedom.

This challenge is about more than reaching the summit. It’s about making a real difference and supporting a cause that changes lives every day.

About Us

Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Service & Faults Engineer to join our dynamic and professional team.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding as well as repairs across a wide range of fire and security systems. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
•Service, maintain, and fault-find on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
•Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs
•Ensure all systems meet current industry standards and compliance requirements
•Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
•Complete all relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner
•Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer (service and faults)
•Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control
•Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
•Ability to work both independently and within a team
•Strong communication and customer-facing skills
•Full UK driving licence
•Relevant industry qualifications preferred
