🌟 Meet the Committee: Sean Bingham - Auditel

Next up in our “Meet the Committee” series is Sean Bingham, Carbon and Operations Specialist at Auditel.

Sean works with business leaders to help them understand their organisation’s carbon footprint, meet regulatory requirements for carbon declarations and develop meaningful carbon reduction plans. With a long-standing interest in sustainability, Sean was inspired to turn his passion into a business and become the trusted sustainability advisor that many Northern Ireland businesses need, without the cost of employing a full-time specialist.

One of the key lessons that has shaped Sean’s business journey is the importance of persistence and believing in the value of what you do. While running a business can be challenging, he says it is also incredibly rewarding.

Sean joined the Lisburn Chamber Committee because of the genuine support it provides to the local business community. From his very first Chamber event, he experienced a warm welcome and was impressed by the commitment of the Executive Committee to supporting businesses across the region.

One thing you might not know about Sean is that he is a Cytech-qualified bicycle wheel builder and enjoys spending time in his shed building and repairing wheels.

Stay tuned as we continue our “Meet the Committee” series and introduce more of the people supporting Lisburn Chamber and Lisburn’s thriving business community.

We're delighted to be part of and to celebrate Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's investment mission at the Tower of London.

Our business leaders showcased the region's incredible potential to investors and decision-makers across Greater London.

From our strong digital connectivity and skilled workforce, to prime location on the A1 Belfast-Dublin Economic Corridor - we're making a real impact on the international stage.

Our President of Lisburn Chamber said, “I'm thrilled about the great opportunities presented to build lasting connections between Lisburn and Castlereagh and our capital in London. The conversations happening through this mission are incredibly valuable and we know they'll have real, long-lasting impact for our business community.”

Congratulations to our local business representatives who represented our region so brilliantly and huge thanks to Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council for championing our area.

This is momentum we can build on together. đź’Ľ

With more trade programmes coming to ROI and Europe in 2026, the opportunities for our members and local businesses to grow internationally have never been stronger.

President, Ruth Young, and board members Emma Finney and Melanie Coey were delighted to be in attendance at the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council London Trade Mission event in the Tower of London last night.

It was a great evening of networking and connecting with London stakeholders while also enjoying a private tour with Yeoman Warder Ryan Brown, the first Northern Irish Yeoman Warder from our very own Lisburn.

This evening will see a reception of up to 120 from both our council area and guests from London to build connections for commerce.

A brilliant evening at our BSL for Beginners session on Monday!

A small group of attendees joined us at Action Mental Health Lisburn for an inspiring introduction to British Sign Language and Deaf culture. Led by Paula Clarke, alongside interpreter Heather, the session covered the BSL alphabet, simple signs and how we can all be more inclusive in our businesses.

A huge thank you to Paula for such an engaging and insightful session, to Heather for her support and to everyone who attended.

We hope to see you at another Lisburn Chamber event soon!

From a thriving network of independent businesses to major employers like Coca-Cola, Lisburn offers a strong and diverse local economy.
