A nice small domestic job to finish off a busy week.

Installed a Dahua AirShield external detection system today, along with a touchscreen keypad.

The system is also connected to the customers phones, allowing them to set and unset the alarm remotely and receive alarm notifications wherever they are.

The external detection gives an early warning around the property, helping to detect movement before an intruder even gets to the front door.

A good one completed at ExtraStore Belfast.

This was a takeover and additions job, with a few different systems getting upgraded and brought up to speed.

We upgraded the CCTV system, added Hikvision IP speakers for scheduled broadcasts, and set up monitoring station access.

We also carried out additions to the intruder alarm system, including Takex sensors, and completed the fire alarm maintenance.

Big thanks to Grant for getting us involved, and to Eurocables and Videplus for helping get all the kit organised and delivered on time. It makes a big difference when everyone involved pulls together.

Another job finished and onto the next one.

We recently took over this site’s intruder alarm system, carried out a panel upgrade and installed additional detection. We also upgraded the fire alarm panel and added extra devices where required.

Both systems are now fully compliant, connected to the ARC for 24/7 monitoring, and ready for the customer to open their new premises.

Thanks for choosing PRS Security Systems. Wishing you every success in your new building.

Remote sites with no power used to mean limited options but things have moved on.

We’ve recently been trialling solar-powered 4g CCTV cameras alongside fully battery-powered alarm systems and the results have been very impressive.

These setups provide:
• 24/7 remote access
• Instant activations to users
• No mains power required
• Quick and clean installations

Perfect for:
• Building sites
• Farms
• Storage yards
• Vacant properties
• Temporary locations

Systems can include:
• Solar-powered CCTV cameras
• External and internal detectors
• Bell boxes
• Smoke & heat detectors
• Fully battery-powered hubs

This opens up huge opportunities for security companies and site managers looking to keep eyes on remote locations without the hassle of running power or installing temporary supplies.

No power. No problem.

We’ve already deployed a number of these systems with great success and reliability.

If you’re looking to secure a remote site, or you're a security company needing a reliable solution, get in touch to find out more.

Always nice to upgrade an old CCTV system that was giving unusable night images and replacing it with Dahua TiOC Pro three‑in‑one cameras.

The church now has full‑colour footage even in very low light, backed up by built‑in red/blue warning lights, siren and custom voice messages to actively deter unwanted activity. With AI features like human and vehicle detection and smarter video search, the team can quickly review exactly what they need without trawling through hours of recordings.

The result is sharper images around the building and car park, fewer false alarms, and a much more usable system for volunteers and keyholders.

If your organisation is still relying on ageing cameras that struggle at night, PRS Systems can design and install a modern CCTV system, setup tailored to your site.

Recent Orisec CP60 Hybrid installation completed .

Fitted with a CSL connected communicator, meaning no need to crush hardware inside the panel or allow for an additional psu. Clean, efficient setup that plugs directly onto the panel! Giving dual path signalling to the arc and also remote access for the engineer & user app.

System includes a combination of black and white detectors for a tidy finish that blends perfectly with the property’s design.

We’re really enjoying using the Orisec range, solid performance, neat installs, and reliable connectivity every time.

Onto the next !

Another video intercom installed for a customer, giving them full control of their gates whether they’re at home or out at work.

They can open and close the gates from the indoor screen or straight from their phone. Access can also be done by PIN code, tag/fob, or even via Bluetooth on their phone if there’s no mobile signal.

Simple to use, tidy install, and makes day-to-day access much easier.
