Put surplus solar power to work heating your water.

For homeowners with solar PV panels and an existing immersion heater and hot-water tank, the Timeguard PV1000 PV Solar Boostmaster Immersion Divertor helps make more use of the energy your panels generate at home.

A clamp at the household meter monitors exported solar energy. When the surplus exceeds 100W, PV Boost directs it to your immersion heater, adjusting the power as solar output changes. Heating stops when the immersion thermostat reaches its set temperature, helping reduce wasted energy and reliance on other water-heating sources.

The wireless display lets you check energy savings, while programmable daily settings and a manual boost provide flexibility when you need more hot water. Boost periods run in 15-minute steps, up to two hours.
