The Vision
The vision for the T-Room is wide-reaching, but at its core is the wellbeing of transgender individuals and an effort to ensure the availability of information that supports that goal.
Through offering training, consultancy and bespoke services (details to follow soon), the T-Room wants to do all it can to create safe and inclusive places for trans* individuals.
Part of this vision is to always be a welcoming and supportive environment for trans individuals, friends, families and allies. As the name suggests, the T-Room aims to be a virtual community space that is safe, comfy and meets the emerging needs and trends in trans welfare.
Alongside information and general support, the T-Room wants to provide information about the various trans-friendly services, businesses and places that are available in your local area. Are there any local cafes, bookshops, boutiques, resource centres, GP surgeries, support groups etc. etc. etc.
The T-Room is currently based in Liverpool and the main focus is in the North West of England.
Working together as a community, we can be the friendly face of transgender lives.
