Case study how we generated $33k with $1k ad spend.
Let’s dive in.
General brand info:
Niche - Outdoors handmade clothes.
AOV - $100 - $300
Already bringing decent amount of traffic (5k+ a month)
Strategy:
This applies if you are already bringing some website visits.
If you already bringing at least 5k visitors a month one of the best ways to start would be with remarketing/retargeting funnel.
Why? It is the easiest way to generate sales even leads for your brand.
The people you are targeting already have heard of you and visited your website, if you are established brand that works even better.
BOF funnel:
Campaign structure:
CBO > 3- 4 ad sets > 3 - 4 ads per ad set
Audiences:
( If you don‘t have pixel installed, which you should, let data to accumulate for 3 – 7 days and start the campaign)
Ad set → VC / purchase in the last 0-3 days
Ad set → VC / purchase in the last 3-30 days
Ad set → IG engagers/ purchase 0-3 days (applies if you have an active IG account)
Ad set → IG engagers/ purchase 3-30 days (applies if you have an active IG account)
When you start getting more traffic and events you can add these audiences:
All website visitors last 30 days
All add to carts last 30 days
All view contents last 30 days
From the ad spend you can tell that the budget was super small.
If you bring at least 5k - 10k visits start with $10 per campaign.
If you bring 10k - 20k start with $20 per campaign.
And increase budget by 20% each time while maintaining a healthy frequency.
What is considered a high frequency score?
IT DEPENDS.
Your healthy frequency score might be even 5 – 10 but then make sure you do check at what score your ads are underperforming.
Copy:
- Sentence that calls out the audience
- Short brand story.
Again super simple no rocket science copywriting alien stuff.
Creative:
High quality lifestyle photo where person is wearing clothes.
That’s it.

Ad structure:
CBO campaign ; 3 - 4 ad sets, 3 - 4 ads.
Audiences:
Pick 5 - 10 audiences that relevant to your niche.
Some audience examples (your niche’s):
Magazines
Celebrity pages
TV channels
Shows.
Instagram pages.
After getting some data from TOF campaign what you can do is to go to your page manager and open 15 - 20 people who have liked your page and look at what they are interested in, then find 4-5 interests that are semi congruent across the accounts I and other people use this as well.
After getting even more data you can start creating LLA‘s and see what is performing better, interests or LLAs

To sum up if you already have traffic coming in…
Create BOF CBO campaign:
1 Ad set → VC/ purchase last days 0 - 3 → 3 - 4 ads
2 Ad set → VC/ purchase last days 30→ 3 - 4 ads
3 Ad set → IG engagers/purchase last days 0 - 3 → 3 - 4 ads
4 Ad set → IG engagers/purchase last days 3-30 → 3 - 4 ads
After getting consistent sales from BOF follow up with TOF CBO campaign:
1 Ad set → Interest A or LLA 1% (look which is bringing best ROAS) → 3 - 4 ads
2 Ad set → Interest B or LLA 1% (look which is bringing best ROAS) → 3 - 4 ads
3 Ad set → Interest C or LLA 1% (look which is bringing best ROAS) → 3 - 4 ads
4 Ad set → Interest D or LLA 1% (look which is bringing best ROAS) → 3 - 4 ads
Then gradually increase budget by 20% each time you get consistent ROAS at least 3 days straight.
