Another quality installation completed by the ACC Renewable Energy team, designed to maximise generation and give this homeowner greater control over their energy.

🏡 System installed:
• 18 × 480W LONGi Solar Hi-MO X10 all-black solar panels
• 8.64kWp solar PV array
• East & West split to maximise generation throughout the day
• 10kWh Sigenergy all-in-one battery storage system
• Hypervolt EV charger

The Sigenergy battery stores excess solar energy generated during the day, allowing the homeowner to use their own clean energy after the sun goes down rather than relying as heavily on the grid.

With an EV at the property, we also installed a Hypervolt EV charger — a smart, stylish charging solution featuring its distinctive illuminated lightning bolt, with customisable colours to suit different seasons and occasions. ⚡🚗

A few weeks ago, ACC Renewable Energy was proud to play our part in this fantastic Plus Dane Housing social value project, funded by Next Energy.

As part of our own commitment to social value, ACC also contributed directly to the project by providing a significant discount on the installation, helping make sure even more of the available funding went towards delivering real benefits for the community.

Our team installed:

⛪️ Project Spotlight | St Mary’s Church, West Derby ☀️🔋

After a busy few months, we’re proud to finally share one of our most rewarding projects to date.

As we celebrate our 6th year anniversary and continue going from strength to strength, St Mary’s Church, West Derby has officially completed Phase 1 of its solar PV and battery storage installation.

This project has been over a year in the making, from our initial quotation through to the many approvals required by the Church of England and the Diocese of Liverpool. It was a privilege to receive the final approval, complete with the historic wax-sealed authorisation, before work could begin.

The entire first phase was completed in just one day by our incredible ACC Renewable Energy team, showcasing the planning, experience and teamwork that goes into every installation.

It’s a fantastic feeling to know that this church and its community centre are now generating the majority of their electricity from the sun, reducing both energy costs and reliance on fossil fuels for years to come.

Phase 1 Installation:
☀️ 30 × AIKO 530W Full Black G3 Solar Panels (15.9kWp)
🔋 4 × Sigenergy 10kWh Batteries (36kWh usable storage)
⚡ 1 × Sigenergy 25kW Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter

We’re now looking forward to Phase 2, which will hopefully be approved once the remaining planning matters are resolved. Completing the second phase will allow the church and community centre to generate around 80% of their annual electricity demand, making a significant contribution towards a more sustainable future.
