The Leather Satchel Co. are one the last remaining teams of leathersmiths who craft satchels, bags and cases by hand from genuine cowhide leather here in England. We are the UK's oldest satchel maker, some would say "The Original" and we still remain to keep production here in England. We are a family owned and run business that have been crafting all manner of things out of leather hides since th

e 1960s. Some of our most popular designs haven't changed very much at all since that time. are noted for our high quality hand-craftsmanship and charming simple and vintage designs. Clients can order custom designs direct from our workshops and we then export directly to over 160 countries.

Keith didn't set out to become a leather craftsman. But somewhere between the deep, primal smell of the hides, the rhythm of the stitching, and the quiet satisfaction of shaping something from nothing in his hands -- he found a place to call home.

The racks behind him hold enough leather for a lifetime of making. Each hide waiting, like the rest of us, to find its place in the orchestra. To play its part when the moment comes.

He's been standing in rooms that smell like this for most of his life, working energy into little leather sidekicks that will go on to become part of someone else's daily story.

He never planned it. And when people ask how it happened, he just smiles.

"I just kept showing up. It is what it is."

There were days when only the sea air would do.

Days when her thoughts needed more room than four walls could give them. The horizon seemed to understand that without asking questions. Out here, everything had space to move. The wind, the water, the small ideas that had been waiting for their turn.

Her sidekick came with her, carrying the ordinary things while the rest began to feel lighter.

By the time she turned back, she was already thinking about chips.

As a child, she remembered it feeling impossibly large. Bright signs, loud music, and the hustle and bustle of crowds pushing past.
This was the first time she had come back grown-up, and somehow the place felt both smaller and more magical than she expected.
Perhaps it was the way she had dressed, but it changed how everything felt. The lights seemed warmer, the music softer, the whole place touched with a borrowed memory. For a moment, she thought of her great grandparents in old photographs. Dressed properly for the day. Stepping out into movement, music, lights, and possibility.
Her little sidekick was beside her, of course, looking entirely at home among the lights and old music, as if it had known all along this was exactly where they were meant to be.

This one knows exactly what it is.

A proper high-end leather briefcase satchel, proud of its heritage, and rather fond of its natural honey colour. It has the air of an explorer about it, ready for sun, wind, and miles of use, gathering a weathered patina through every adventure, eager to be passed from generation to generation, collecting new stories with different people in different places.
